Claims (34)
- 電気回路内の電流を監視し前記電気回路を遮断する航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器であって、
前記電気回路は、ラインサイドとそこに接続される電気的負荷を有する負荷サイドとを有しており、前記航空機に適応可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器は、
前記電気回路のラインサイドと負荷サイドに接続する電気コネクタ手段を含むハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに配置され、前記電気回路に電気的に接続される電源と、
前記電気回路において電流不均衡を感知し、前記電流不均衡の前記感知に基づいて前記電気回路内の望ましくない電流の存在を指示するセンサ信号を提供するために前記ハウジングに配置されるセンサシステムと、
前記センサ信号を前記センサシステムから受信し、故障を表す故障信号を出力するために、前記ハウジングに配置されており、監視されている前記電気回路によって動力を供給されるように構成される論理コントローラと、
前記故障信号を前記論理コントローラから受信し、前記論理コントローラからの前記故障信号に応答して前記電気回路の前記負荷サイドに対する電力を取り除くように構成される前記ハウジングに配置される電力コントローラであって、予測される電流レベルでキャリーブレーク(carry-break)及びメークキャリーブレーク(make-carry-break)タイプの接地事故状況に耐えることができる接点を有する電力リレーを含む電力コントローラとを備えた航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器。 - 前記接点は、接点抵抗において評価できる変化を有しない約500アンペアのメークキャリーブレーク故障電流レベルに対して25アンペアの電流に定格される請求項1に記載の航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器。
- 前記接点は、接点抵抗において評価できる変化を有しない約1500アンペアのメークキャリーブレーク故障電流レベルに対して50アンペアの電流に定格される請求項1に記載の航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器。
- 前記航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器は、前記電気回路によって動作している装置内のアークの発生を遮断する請求項1に記載の航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記航空機に対する既存の電力コントローラのエンベロープと整合するエンベロープを有しており、同じ監視の構成を用いている請求項1に記載の航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器。

- 前記航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器は、前記航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器が適切に動作しているかどうかを決定するためにパワーアップシーケンス中に試験するように構成される請求項1に記載の航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器。
- 電気回路を電気的負荷に対して遮断する、航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器であって、
前記電気回路はラインサイド及び負荷サイドを有し、
前記航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器は、
前記電気回路のラインサイド及び負荷サイドに接続する電気コネクタ手段を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに配置され、前記電気回路に接続される電源と、
前記電気回路において電流不均衡を感知し、前記電流不均衡の前記感知に基づいて前記電気回路内の電流不均衡の存在を指示するセンサ信号を提供するために前記ハウジングに配置されるセンサシステムと、
遮断されたときに前記電気回路の前記負荷サイドに対する電力を取り除くように構成される直流(DC)制御される電力コントローラであって、予測される電流レベルでキャリーブレーク及びメークキャリーブレークタイプの接地事故状況に耐えることができる接点を有する電力リレーを含む電力コントローラと、
外部リレー制御信号及び前記センサ信号を前記センサシステムから受信し、前記電気回路が許容し得る動作を得るための所定範囲と前記センサ信号を比較し、電流不均衡を表す故障信号を出力するために、前記ハウジングに配置されており、前記電源によって動力を供給されるように構成され、前記センサ信号が前記所定範囲を超えるときに前記電力コントローラが遮断されるようにする論理コントローラと、
電流不均衡状況が生じたことを指示するために、前記故障信号を前記論理コントローラから受信するように構成される故障指示器と、
前記故障指示器及び前記電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器をリセットするリセットスイッチとを備えており、
前記ハウジングは、空間において前記航空機に利用される既存の電力コントローラと整合する前記電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器をパッケージ化するフォームファクタを有している航空機に適用可能な電流不均衡検出及び回路断続器。 - 前記論理コントローラは、前記外部リレー制御信号を受信し、前記電力コントローラに電圧を与え、前記電力コントローラの動力源を断つようにこの信号を処理し、
