Abstract
従来、電槽蓋の封口結着部に内リブを備える鉛蓄電池は、該内リブの断面が方形に成形されている為、内リブの垂直面において接着剤の内リブとの接合が十分でない場合があり、該内リブの垂直面に傾斜を付けて火炎が垂直面にも良く当たるようにして、より確実に結着性を高めることで、接着強度に優れ、電解液の液漏れ防止する封口結着部を有する高品質の鉛蓄電池を提供する。
【解決手段】
電槽蓋に内リブを備える封口結着部を有する鉛蓄電池において、該内リブの断面形状をテーパー状とし、その傾斜角θを30°≦θ≦60°とする。

Description
なお、傾斜面の角度θは両面同一である必要はなく30°〜60°の範囲で、両面で異なっても、又、一方の側面のみが傾斜していても良い。
端子部4を囲繞するように形成した内リブ5の傾斜角を20°、70°及び90°と本発明範囲外とした以外は実施例1と同様に種々の密閉形鉛蓄電池を製造した(比較例1〜3)。
端子部4を囲繞する封口結着部7内に内リブを設けなかった以外は実施例1と同様に密閉形鉛蓄電池を製造した(従来例1)。

Claims (1)
- 電槽蓋に内リブを備える封口結着部を有する鉛蓄電池において、該内リブの断面形状をテーパー状とし、その傾斜角θを30°≦θ≦60°としたことを特徴とする鉛蓄電池。
