Claims (5)
- 基板上にほぼ垂直に実装された少なくとも一つのＬＥＤから成るＬＥＤ光源と、このＬＥＤ光源からの光を光照射方向前方に向かって反射するように、第一の焦点位置が光源の発光部付近に位置し、且つ第二の焦点位置が光照射方向前側に位置するように配置された光照射方向前方に向かって凹状の楕円系反射面と、上記反射面の前方にて、ほぼ水平な光軸上にて、その光源側の焦点位置が上記反射面の第二の焦点位置付近に位置するように配置された凸状の投影レンズと、を含んでいる、車両前照灯において、上記反射面の第一の焦点位置が第二の焦点位置より後方下側に位置するように、その長軸が後方に向かって下方に傾斜して配置されており、上記ＬＥＤ光源の発光中心から基板に垂直に延びる垂線が、上記投影レンズの光軸の延長線と、上記反射面上で交差することを特徴とする車両前照灯。
- 上記反射面の第一の焦点及び第二の焦点の間の距離が、上記投影レンズの焦点距離より短く選定されていることを特徴とする、請求項１に記載の車両前照灯。
- さらに、上記ＬＥＤ光源から離れた位置に配置された放熱部材を備えており、 この放熱部材が、上記ＬＥＤ光源の基板と熱伝導部材を介して熱的に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項１から２の何れかに記載の車両前照灯。
- さらに、上記反射面の第二の焦点位置付近に配置され、上縁がカットオフラインを画成するように形成された遮光部材を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項１から３の何れかに記載の車両前照灯。
- 上記遮光部材が、上記ＬＥＤ光源からの直接光を光照射方向前方の上側に向かって透過させるオーバーヘッドサイン用配光のための窓部を有していることを特徴とする、請求項１から４の何れかに記載の車両前照灯。
