Abstract
【解決手段】空燃比センサ37の電気的接続の異常(断線や短絡等)無しと判定された場合には、空燃比センサ37の活性時間の異常の有無や空燃比センサ37の応答性の異常の有無が判定される前でも、所定の空燃比F/B制御実行条件が成立したときに、空燃比センサ37の出力に基づいて各気筒の空燃比を一律に制御する空燃比F/B制御を開始する。この後、空燃比センサ37の活性時間の異常診断及び空燃比センサ37の応答性の異常診断が終了して、空燃比センサ37が正常(空燃比センサ37の活性時間の異常無し且つ空燃比センサ37の応答性の異常無し)であると判定された場合には、所定の気筒別空燃比F/B制御実行条件が成立したときに、気筒別空燃比F/B制御を開始する。

Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の複数の気筒の排出ガスが合流する排気合流部に設置した空燃比センサの出力に基づいて各気筒の空燃比を気筒別に制御する気筒別空燃比制御を実行する気筒別空燃比制御手段と、前記空燃比センサの異常の有無を判定する空燃比センサ異常診断手段とを備えた内燃機関の空燃比制御装置において、
内燃機関の始動後に前記空燃比センサ異常診断手段により前記空燃比センサの異常無しと判定された後に前記気筒別空燃比制御手段による気筒別空燃比制御を許可する手段を備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。 - 前記空燃比センサの出力に基づいて各気筒の空燃比を一律に制御する空燃比制御を実行する空燃比制御手段を備え、
内燃機関の始動後に前記空燃比センサ異常診断手段により前記空燃比センサの応答性の異常の有無が判定される前に前記空燃比制御手段による空燃比制御を許可する手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
