Abstract
【解決手段】内燃機関の排気熱量の変動により各熱電発電ユニット20を構成する高温側フィン付熱流板21,21のフランジ部21B,21Bが径方向に熱膨張、熱収縮し、かつ、傾斜する際、熱電発電素子モジュール23,23のp型熱電発電素子Pおよびn型熱電発電素子Nの高温端は、フロアピストン組立体24のフロアピストン24A,24Aが傾動することにより、それぞれ高温側電極23A,23Aに確実に押圧されて平面接触し、この状態でフランジ部21B,21Bの径方向に相対的に摺動する。このため、熱電発電素子モジュール23,23は、その本来の熱発電能力を十分に発揮する。

Claims (3)
- 熱回収部材に高温端側が接触し、低温端側が放熱部材に接触することで熱発電可能な複数の熱電発電素子がPN接続された熱電発電素子モジュールを備える熱電発電装置であって、
前記熱電発電素子モジュールは、円環状に形成された前記熱回収部材の側面に高温側が押圧されて平面接触する円環状に構成されていることを特徴とする熱電発電装置。 - 前記熱回収部材は放射状に配列された多数のくし歯状のフィンを有し、隣接する一対の熱回収部材のフィン同士が所定のクリアランスをあけて交互に噛み合うように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱電発電装置。
- 前記熱電発電素子モジュールの高温側を前記熱回収部材の側面に押圧する手段として、球部材を介して相互に傾動可能な一対の押圧部材を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の熱電発電装置。
