Description
(1) 光触媒を処理した樹脂成形品をトイレ内に配置し、光照射なしに消臭することを特徴とするトイレの消臭方法。
(2) 前記(1)に記載のトイレの消臭方法において、
前記光触媒がシリカでコートされている酸化チタンであることを特徴とするトイレの消臭方法。
(3) 前記(1)または(2)に記載のトイレの消臭方法において、
前記樹脂成形品が、芳香剤供給装置または芳香洗浄剤供給装置の少なくとも一部を構成することを特徴とするトイレの消臭方法。
なお、光触媒を樹脂成形品に処理する方法としては、種々の方法が採用することができるが、例えば練り込み、付着、塗布などを施すことができ、特に練り込みによる樹脂成形品の成形が製造コストを抑制する観点で好適である。前記樹脂成形品を形成する樹脂組成物としては、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ナイロン(登録商標)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネートなどの単一または複合の樹脂が利用できる。
一方、光触媒チタンアパタイトを採用した場合には、含有量は樹脂組成物全量に対して光触媒チタンアパタイトが0.1〜1.0質量%であることが好ましい。
ここで、本発明に関して消臭効果を確認するため、ポリプロピレンに光触媒としてTKP−101(シリカ吸着TiO2)を添加して成形した樹脂成形品(容器)を用いて、消臭効果の実験を行った。
なお、光の遮蔽を、デシケータ全体を被うことにより行い、消臭倍率の算出は基準品(ポリプロピレンのみの場合)を1としてその比で行った。
さらに本発明に関し、光触媒として光触媒チタンアパタイトを採用した場合の消臭効果を確認するため、別の消臭効果の実験を行った。

- 光触媒を処理した樹脂成形品をトイレ内に配置し、光照射なしに消臭することを特徴とするトイレの消臭方法。
- 請求項1に記載のトイレの消臭方法において、
前記光触媒がシリカでコートされている酸化チタンであることを特徴とするトイレの消臭方法。 - 請求項1または2に記載のトイレの消臭方法において、
前記樹脂成形品が、芳香剤供給装置または芳香洗浄剤供給装置の少なくとも一部を構成することを特徴とするトイレの消臭方法。
