Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の電池パックは、電極組立体と、この電極組立体を収容するケースとを含むベアセル200と、ベアセル200を収納する外部ケース310、320とを備えており、外部ケース310、320の下端部に形成された段差部318、328に樹脂材を充填してボトムケース400を形成し、このボトムケース400が外部ケース310、320の側面よりも外側に出ないようにモールディングしたことを特徴とする。

Claims (14)
- 第1電極板、第2電極板及び前記第1電極板と前記第2電極板との間に介在するセパレータを含む電極組立体と、前記電極組立体が収容されるケースとを含むベアセルと、
前記ベアセルを収納する外部ケースと、
前記外部ケースの上端部にモールディングされる上部モールディング部と、
前記外部ケースの下端部にモールディングされる下部モールディング部とを含み、
前記下部モールディング部は前記ベアセルの下端部を覆い、前記外部ケースの側面よりも外側に出ないようにモールディングされることを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記外部ケースの下端部には、前記外部ケースの側面から内側に凹んだ段差部が形成され、前記段差部に前記下部モールディング部を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記段差部は、前記ベアセルの側面の下端と前記ベアセルの底面との間の境界部に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記外部ケースは、前記ベアセルの幅の広い側の一方の側面及び幅の狭い側の両側面の一部を覆う第1外部ケースと、前記ベアセルの幅の広い側の他方の側面及び幅の狭い側の両側面の一部を覆う第2外部ケースとから構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1外部ケース及び前記第2外部ケースは、ステンレス材質で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電池パック。
- 前記外部ケースは、パウチ型に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
- 前記外部ケースは、角形に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
- 第1電極板、第2電極板及び前記第1電極板と前記第2電極板との間に介在するセパレータを含む電極組立体と、前記電極組立体が収容されるケースとを含むベアセルと、前記ベアセルを収納する外部ケースとを備えた電池パックにおいて、
前記外部ケースは、その下端部に前記ベアセルの下端部を覆うボトムカバーを設置するための結合部を備えていることを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記結合部は、前記外部ケースの側面から内側に凹んだ段差部であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電池パック。
- 前記段差部は、前記ベアセルの側面の下端と前記ベアセルの底面との間の境界部に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電池パック。
- 前記外部ケースは、前記ベアセルの幅の広い側の一方の側面及び幅の狭い側の側面の一部を覆う第1外部ケースと、前記ベアセルの幅の広い側の他方の側面及び幅の狭い側の側面の一部を覆う第2外部ケースとから構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1外部ケース及び前記第2外部ケースは、ステンレス材質で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電池パック。
- 前記外部ケースは、パウチ型に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
- 前記外部ケースは、角形に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
