Abstract
【解決手段】ねじ部とねじ無し金属接触部とを有する接触表面をそれぞれ備えたピンとボックスとから構成される鋼管用ねじ継手において、ピンとボックスの少なくとも一方の部材の接触表面に、下から順に、第1の金属または合金からなるHv100〜500の第1層、より軟質な第2の金属または合金からなるHv10〜150の第2層、および最上層の固体潤滑被膜層(潤滑粉を有機または無機結合剤で結合した被膜)を形成する。

Description
・第1層の硬さがHv100〜500、第2層の硬さがHv10〜150である、
・第2層の表面粗度が1〜6μmRaである、
・第1層の膜厚が2〜15μm、第2層の膜厚が5〜30μm、固体潤滑被膜層の膜厚が5〜40μmである、
・固体潤滑被膜層が有害重金属を含まない、
・鋼管が油井管である、
・鋼管がCrを3%以上含有する。
図1は、出荷時の油井管用鋼管とカップリング(ねじ継手部品)の状態を示す典型的なねじ継手の組み立て構成を模式的に示す。鋼管Aの両端には外面に雄ねじ部3aを有するピン1が形成され、カップリングBの両側には、内面に雌ねじ部3bを有するボックス2が形成されている。ピンとは雄ねじを有する方のねじ継手部分を、ボックスとは雌ねじを有する方のねじ継手部分をそれぞれ意味する。鋼管Aの一端には予めカップリングBが締付けられている。図示していないが、締付けられていない鋼管AのピンとカップリングBのボックスには、それぞれのねじ部の保護のためのプロテクターが出荷前に装着され、これらはねじ継手の使用前に取り外される。
硬質な金属もしくは合金からなる第1層31aと、軟質な金属もしくは合金からなる第2層31bとを電気めっき法等の適当な方法で形成した後、固体潤滑被膜を形成する前に、場合によりショットブラストもしくはサンドブラストにより適当な表面粗度を付与してもよい。それにより、固体潤滑被膜の密着性が高まる。
前述したように、本発明は鋼管用ねじ継手は耐焼付き性に非常に優れているので、焼付きが起こり易い高合金鋼製のねじ継手に対しても締付けと緩めを繰り返した時の焼付きを防止することができる。
本発明はピンおよび/またはボックスの接触表面に、まず相対的に硬質な金属もしくは合金からなる第1層と、相対的に軟質な金属もしくは合金からなる第2層という2層構造の下地処理層を形成する。
Niストライクめっき層の形成には、例えばNiイオン濃度が55〜80g/Lとなるように塩化ニッケルを脱イオン水に溶解し、30〜50g/Lの硫酸銅を添加した浴を用いることができる。さらに、市販の光沢剤を添加することもできる。その場合には、めっき浴の温度を20〜40℃として、電流密度2〜6A/dm2でめっきを行うことにより必要な膜厚とすることができる。
本発明では前記の2層の下地処理層の上に、さらに最上層として潤滑効果を発揮する固体潤滑被膜層を形成する。
有機樹脂としては、耐熱性と適度な硬さと耐摩耗性を有するものが好適である。そのような樹脂としては、エポキシ樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、ポリアミドイミド樹脂、ポリカルボジイミド樹脂、ポリエーテルサルホン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、フェノール樹脂、フラン樹脂などの熱硬化性樹脂や、ポリエチレン樹脂、シリコーン樹脂などを例示できる。固体潤滑被膜の密着性と耐摩耗性を向上するという観点から、加熱硬化処理をすることが好ましい。この加熱硬化処理の温度は好ましくは120℃以上、より好ましくは150〜380℃であり、処理時間は好ましくは30分以上、より好ましくは30〜60分である。
無機高分子化合物とは、Ti−O、Si−O、Zr−O、Mn−O、Ce−O、Ba−Oといった、金属−酸素結合が三次元架橋した構造を有する化合物である。この化合物は、金属アルコキシドで代表される加水分解性の有機金属化合物または四塩化チタンなどの加水分解性の無機化合物の加水分解と縮合により形成することができる。
なお、固体潤滑被膜層には、防錆剤をはじめとする各種添加剤を、耐焼付き性を損なわない範囲で添加することができる。例えば、亜鉛粉、クロム顔料、アルミナ顔料の1種若しくは2種以上を添加することで、固体潤滑被膜層自身の防錆性を向上させることができる。その他、本発明の目的、効果を損なわない範囲で、潤滑添加剤、酸化防止剤、着色剤などを固体潤滑被膜層に適宜添加することもできる。潤滑添加剤の例としては、ワックスや脂肪酸アルカリ土類金属塩などである。
表1に示す組成Aの13Cr鋼製ねじ継手に下記の表面処理を施した。
締付け・緩め試験では、表3に示すように、10回の締付け・緩めにおいて、焼付きの発生はなく、極めて良好であった。
表1に示す組成Aの13Cr鋼製のねじ継手に下記の表面処理を施した。
ボックス表面は、機械研削仕上げ(表面粗さ3μm)の後、まずNiストライクめっきを膜厚1μmに形成した後、電気めっきによりHv150のCuめっきを5μmの膜厚に形成し、電気めっきによりHv30のCu−Sn合金めっきを12μm形成した後、ショットブラストを軽く実施して表面粗さ2μmRaにした。その後、結晶化度96.4%の土状黒鉛を分散したホットメルト結合剤(カルナバワックス、ポリアミド)からなる固体潤滑被膜層(潤滑粉/結合剤質量比=2.0)をボックス表面及び固体潤滑被膜層形成用薬剤を150℃に加熱してから、エアスプレーガンにより25μmの膜厚に形成した。
締付け・緩め試験では、表3に示すように、10回の締付け・緩めにおいて、焼付きの発生はなく、極めて良好であった。
表1に示す組成Bの高合金製のねじ継手に下記の表面処理を施した。
ボックス表面は、機械研削仕上げ(表面粗さ3μm)後、電気めっきによりHv250のNiめっきを5μmの膜厚に形成し、さらにその上に電気めっきによりHv50のSn−Zn合金めっきを10μm形成した後、ショットブラストを軽く実施して表面粗さ1.5μmRaにした。その後、マイカ、タルク、ベントナイトを分散したポリアミドイミド樹脂からなる固体潤滑被膜層(潤滑粉/結合剤質量比=8.0)を15μmの膜厚に形成した。
鋼種が非常に焼付きの起こり易い高合金鋼であったため、締付け・緩め試験では、表3に示すように、10回の締付け・緩めにおいて、7回目終了時に僅かな焼付きが発生したが、手入れにより引き続き使用可能であった。この結果は、耐焼付き性能としては全く問題ないレベルである。
表1に示す組成Bの高合金鋼製のねじ継手に下記の表面処理を施した。
ボックス表面は、機械研削仕上げ(表面粗さ3μm)後、電気めっきによりNiストライクめっきを膜厚1μmに形成した後、電気めっきによりHv250のCuめっきを8μmの膜厚に形成し、電気めっきによりHv100のCu−Sn−Bi合金めっきを20μm形成した。その際、表面粗さは5μmRaであった。その後、黒鉛、二硫化モリブデンを分散したTiO系無機高分子化合物からなる固体潤滑被膜層(潤滑粉/結合剤質量比=2.3)を10μmの膜厚に形成した。
締付け・緩め試験では、表3に示すように、10回の締付け・緩めにおいて、8回目終了時に僅かな焼付きが発生したが、手入れにより引き続き使用可能であった。この結果は、耐焼付き性能としては全く問題ないレベルである。
表1に示す組成Aの13%Cr鋼製のねじ継手に下記の表面処理を施した。
ボックス表面は、機械研削仕上げ(表面粗さ3μm)後、その表面を電気めっきによりHv150のCuめっきを膜厚6μm形成した。さらに、その上に、二硫化タングステンを分散したエポキシ樹脂からなる固体潤滑被膜層(潤滑粉/結合剤質量比=4.0)を20μmの膜厚に形成した。
締付け・緩め試験では、表3に示すように、10回の締付け・緩めにおいて、2回目までは焼付きの発生はなかった。しかし、3回目に激しい焼付きが発生したため試験を終了した。
表1に示す組成Aの13%Cr鋼製のねじ継手に下記の表面処理を施した。
ボックス表面は、機械研削仕上げ(表面粗さ3μm)後、その表面をまず電気めっきによりHv10のSnめっきを膜厚5μm形成し、さらに同様に電気めっきによりHv150のCuめっきを膜厚10μm形成した。その後、2層のめっき層の上に二硫化タングステンを分散したエポキシ樹脂からなる固体潤滑被膜層(潤滑粉/結合剤質量比=4.0)を20μmの膜厚に形成した。
締付け・緩め試験では、表3に示すように、10回の締付け・緩めにおいて、2回目までは焼付きの発生はなかった。しかし、3回目に激しい焼付きが発生したため試験を終了した。
Claims (7)
- ねじ部とねじ無し金属接触部とを有する接触表面をそれぞれ備えたピンとボックスとから構成される鋼管用ねじ継手であって、ピンとボックスの少なくとも一方の部材の接触表面に、下から順に、第1の金属または合金からなる第1層、第1の金属または合金より軟質な第2の金属または合金からなる第2層、および最上層の固体潤滑被膜層を有することを特徴とする鋼管用ねじ継手。
- 第1層の硬さがHv100〜500、第2層の硬さがHv10〜150である、請求項1に記載の鋼管用ねじ継手。
- 第2層の表面粗度が1〜6μmRaである、請求項1または2に記載の鋼管用ねじ継手。
- 第1層の膜厚が2〜15μm、第2層の膜厚が5〜30μm、固体潤滑被膜層の膜厚が5〜40μmである、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の鋼管用ねじ継手。
- 固体潤滑被膜層が有害重金属を含まない、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の鋼管用ねじ継手。
- 鋼管が油井管である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の鋼管用ねじ継手。
- 鋼管がCrを3%以上含有する、請求項6に記載の鋼管用ねじ継手。
