Abstract
【解決手段】マルチメディアサービスデータの伝送方法では、共有チャンネルを通して伝送されたサービスデータ(データチャンネル)の類型を端末側で判別するように、共有チャンネルにマッピングされるサービスデータに論理チャンネル種類(type)指示子を含ませる。論理チャンネル種類指示子は、Target Channel Type Field(TCTF)であり、サービスデータ(MACプロトコルユニット)のヘッダーに含まれて伝送される。

多様なチャンネルマッピング構造を支援するために、MACは優先順位処理(Priority Handling)機能を行う。前記優先順位処理には、2種類の多様なUE間の優先順位処理と、一つのUEに対する優先順位処理とがある。
MACは、伝送チャンネルを通して物理階層に各伝送ブロック(Transport Block:TB)を伝送する。伝送フォーマット(Transport Format:TF)は、一つの伝送チャンネルが伝送するTBの大きさと個数に対する規定を意味する。このように特定の伝送チャンネルに対するTFを決定するとき、MACは物理階層での伝送チャンネル多重化(Transport Channel Multiplexing)まで考慮すべきである。
ACは同じCCTrCHにマッピングされる全ての伝送チャンネルを考慮すべきである。実際に、物理階層で処理するデータの量はCCTrCHを通して伝送される量であるため、MACはCCTrCHを考慮して各伝送チャンネルのTFを決定するが、このとき、各TFの組合せを伝送フォーマット組合せ(Transport Format Combination:TFC)という。このようなTFCは、MACが自体的に決定するのでなく、MACはRRC階層が知らせる使用可能なTFCの集合(TFC Set:TFCS)の中から選択される。即ち、RRCは、初期設定時、MACに一つのCCTrCHに対して使用可能なTFCSを知らせ、MACはTTI毎にTFCS内で適切なTFCを選択する。
また、MACでは識別(Identification)機能が必要である。その理由は、第一に、共用伝送チャンネルは多様なUEが共有して使用するので、UEに対する識別が必要であり、第二に、論理チャンネル多重化によって各論理チャンネルに対する識別が必要であるためである。従って、MACは、識別のためにMAC PDUのヘッダーに図4のような4種類のフィールドを挿入する。前記MACヘッダーの各フィールドは必ず存在するのではなく、論理チャンネルと伝送チャンネルとのマッピング関係により存在可否が決定される。

例えば、ダウンリンク(Downlink)で多様なMBMSマルチキャストグループのデータがFACH、DSCHまたはHS−DSCHのような共通伝送チャンネルを通して伝送される場合、MAC−c/sh20は優先順位の高いMBMSデータから先に伝送する。これは、動的スケジューリング(Dynamic Scheduling)機能と関連があり、この方法は、共通チャンネルを伝送時間間隔(TTI)毎に端末に適切に割り当てることで、チャンネル資源の効率を高めることができる。

- 無線通信システムでMBMS(Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service)サービスを提供する方法であって、
少なくとも1つの共通論理チャネルを共通伝送チャネルにマッピングするステップと、
前記共通伝送チャンネルを介して、前記少なくとも1つの共通論理チャネルのデータを受信側に伝送するステップと
を含み、
前記データに、前記少なくとも1つの共通論理チャネルを識別するための第1識別子と複数のMBMSサービスから前記MBMSサービスを識別するための第2識別子とを含むヘッダが付加されることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記第1識別子は、TCTF(Target Channel Type Field)である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2識別子は、MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service)識別子である、請求項1に記載の方法。

前記ヘッダに含まれる第1識別子と第2識別子とに従って、前記少なくとも1つの共通論理チャネルおよび前記MBMSサービスを識別するステップと、
前記第1識別子に従って前記共通伝送チャネルにマッピングされた論理チャネルに前記データを伝送するステップと
