Abstract

Claims (10)
- 自動方向指示デバイスであって、
所定の目的地へのルートを定義し、自動車の位置を判定する、地図情報データベースを収めたナビゲーション・モジュールと、
前記位置に基づき前記自動車の方向指示器を自動的に作動させる前記ナビゲーション・モジュールに関連付けられている制御モジュールとを備える自動方向指示デバイス。 - 前記方向指示器の動作状態は、前記方向指示器が自動的に作動する前に判定される請求項1に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- 前記曲がり角に関する情報は、前記方向指示器が作動された後に格納される請求項1に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- 前記ナビゲーション・モジュールは、前記自動車が前記曲がり角から予め定められた距離範囲内に位置するかどうかを判定する請求項1に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- さらに、地理的領域に関連付けられた距離範囲のリストを格納した地図情報データベースを備え、前記制御モジュールは、前記位置に基づいて前記リストから距離範囲を選択する請求項1に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- さらに、距離範囲の前記リストに関連付けられた速度範囲を含み、前記制御モジュールは、前記自動車の速度に基づいて前記リストから距離範囲を選択する請求項5に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- 前記制御モジュールおよび前記方向指示器は、データ・バスにより接続可能である請求項1に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- 前記ナビゲーション・モジュールは、前記ルート上の曲がり角に関する前記位置を判定する請求項1に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- 前記ナビゲーション・モジュールは、前記曲がり角の種類を判定する請求項8に記載の自動方向指示デバイス。
- 自動方向指示デバイスを使用する方法であって、
ナビゲーション・モジュールに、地図情報データベースのデータに基づいて所定の目的地へのルートを定義する動作を行わせ、前記ナビゲーション・モジュールは、前記ルート上の曲がり角に関して自動車の位置を判定し、前記位置を制御モジュールに伝達することと、
前記制御モジュールが前記位置に基づいて前記自動車の方向指示器を作動させることとを含む方法。
