Abstract
【解決手段】ハブ輪1の車輪取付フランジ6の基部にはアウトボード側に延びる略円筒状のホイールパイロット部17が形成されている。ホイールパイロット部17の外周面には、鍛造加工によって、鍛造加工の加工面を残した凹部17aが形成される。一方、ホイールパイロット部17の凹部17a以外の部分には、旋削加工により、略均一な円筒状をした加工面を有する凸部17bが形成される。凹部17aと凸部17bは、ホイールパイロット部17の外周の5箇所に交互に等配されている。これにより、ハブ輪1の剛性を低下させることなく軽量化を図ることができる。

Description
図1は、本発明に係る車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図である。図2は、ハブ輪の側面図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウトボード側(図面左側)、中央寄り側をインボード側(図面右側)という。

Claims (6)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
アウトボード側に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる円筒状の小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪とからなり、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、を備えた車輪用軸受装置において、
前記ハブ輪が、前記車輪取付フランジよりもアウトボード側に延びてホイールの内径面を案内するホイールパイロット部を有し、該ホイールパイロット部の外周面に、鍛造加工の加工面を残した凹部と、機械加工による加工面を有する凸部とが交互に形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記凹部と前記凸部とが、前記ホイールパイロット部の外周の複数箇所に交互に等配されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凹部と前記凸部とが、前記ホイールパイロット部の外周の3、5、もしくは7箇所に交互に等配されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凹部と前記凸部とが、前記ホイールパイロット部の外周にハブボルトもしくはボルト用タップ穴の個数と、同一個数の箇所に交互に等配されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- すくなくとも前記凹部の軸方向もしくは前記凸部の一部に切欠きが設けられている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ホイールパイロット部の端部にキャップが嵌合されている請求項1乃至5いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
