Abstract
【解決手段】無線通信システムは、少なくとも1つのマルチスタックWTRU110及び複数の技術的に多様なアクセスネットワークを含み、両者は共にMIHファンクションを含む。WTRU110は、IEEE802.Xネットワークの1つから伝送されたMIH情報を読み取り、そのMIH情報に基づいて3GPP認証手続き及び3GPP許可手続きをトリガし、ローカルIPアドレスを獲得し、3GPPコアネットワーク内でPDGに至るトンネルを確立し、CoAを構築し、そのCoAをWTRU110のホームエージェント142で登録し、それによってWTRU110を宛先とするデータがそのCoAに基づいてホームエージェント142と外部エージェント136との間で確立された新たなトンネルを通って、ホームエージェント142経由でルーティングされるように構成される。

Claims (3)
- 複数の技術的に多様なアクセスネットワークと、メディア非依存ハンドオーバ(MIH)ファンクションを含むプロトコルスタックを含む少なくとも1つのマルチスタック無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)とを含む無線通信システムにおいて、前記アクセスネットワークとの通信リンクを確立する方法であって、
前記方法は、
(a)前記WTRUをアクティベートし、前記MIHファンクションを初期設定するステップと、
(b)前記WTRUは、アクセスネットワークを求めてスキャンするステップと、
(c)前記WTRUは、アクセスネットワークによって伝送されたビーコンフレームを検出するステップと、
(d)前記ビーコンフレームがMIH情報をサポートすると前記WTRUが判定した場合、前記WTRUは、前記検出されたビーコンフレームの内容を読み取るステップと、
(e)前記WTRUは、前記ビーコンフレームの中で見出されたMIH情報を前記MIHファンクションに送るステップと、
(f)前記MIHファンクションは、前記MIH情報を処理し、前記アクセスネットワークとの通信リンクを確立するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記WTRUおよび前記アクセスネットワークは、モバイルインターネットプロトコルバージョン6(MIPv6)に準拠して高速ハンドオーバ手続きを実施することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記WTRUは、ルータ要請メッセージを現在のアクセスルータ(AR)に送信するステップと、
前記現在のARは、ルータ告知メッセージを前記WTRUに送信するステップと、
前記WTRUは、新たなARに関する測定を実行し、ハンドオーバ判定を行うステップと、
前記WTRUは、高速バインディングアップデートを前記現在のARに送信するステップと、
前記現在のARと前記新たなARとの間でトンネルを確立するステップと、
前記新たなARを介してパケットを配信するステップと
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
