Claims (10)
- フレキシブル能動信号ケーブルであって、
フレキシブル・プリント回路基板と、
2つの電気コネクタであって、それぞれフレキシブル・プリント回路基板の2つの端部の一方の近傍に配置される電気コネクタと、
各端部において前記2つの電気コネクタの一方に接続される少なくとも2つの金属導体と、
フレキシブル・プリント回路基板に取り付けられる少なくとも1つのフレキシブル光導波路と、
前記少なくとも1つのフレキシブル光導波路のうちの少なくとも1つに属する前記2つの端部の一方に光学的に結合され、かつ前記2つの電気コネクタの一方に電気的に結合される光送信機と、
前記少なくとも1つのフレキシブル光導波路のうちの前記少なくとも1つに属する前記2つの端部の他方に光学的に結合され、かつ前記電気コネクタの他方に電気的に結合される光受信機と、
を備えるフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。 - 前記フレキシブル・プリント回路基板が、3層以下の電気絶縁層を有する、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
- 前記光送信機および受信機が前記2つの電気コネクタにそれぞれ電気的に接続される、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
- 前記光送信機に電気的に接続され、かつ前記2つの電気コネクタの一方に電気的に接続される少なくとも1つの電気的なパラレル/シリアル変換器をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
- 前記光受信機に電気的に接続され、前記2つの電気コネクタの一方に電気的に接続される少なくとも1つの電気的なシリアル/パラレル変換器をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
- 前記少なくとも1つのフレキシブル光導波路と前記少なくとも2つの金属導体とのうち最長のものは0.5メートル未満であり、各光路における全光損失には前記少なくとも1つのフレキシブル光導波路の1つにおける損失が含まれ、前記少なくとも1つのフレキシブル光導波路と前記光送信機およびそれに結合される受信機との間の結合損失は、650〜850ナノメータにおいて5dbよりも大きい、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
- 前記フレキシブル能動信号ケーブルを、5mm直径の軸に10,000回巻きつけて解くことが、試験温度において100万回当たり100回よりも低い故障率で可能である、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
- 前記光受信機は光ダイオードまたは光トランジスタである、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
- 電子装置であって、
0.5メートル未満だけ分離された2つの電気コネクタが取り付けられたフレキシブル・プリント回路基板を備え、前記2つの電気コネクタに結合される導電体を通して電力供給可能な能動変換器を通して電気コネクタに結合される少なくとも1つの光導波路をさらに備えるフレキシブル能動信号ケーブルであって、前記2つの電気コネクタ、前記少なくとも1つの光導波路、前記能動変換器、および前記導電体は、前記フレキシブル・プリント回路基板に取り付けられる、フレキシブル能動信号ケーブルと、
前記2つの電気コネクタの一方と係合するソース・コネクタであって、前記少なくとも1つの光導波路のうちの1つによって前記2つの電気コネクタの前記一方から前記2つの電気コネクタの他方に伝えられる25メガビット/秒(kbps)以上の最大組み合わせデータ転送速度を有する電気信号の組を搬送するソース・コネクタと、
を備える電子装置。 - フレキシブル能動信号ケーブルであって、
0.5メートル未満だけ分離された、フレキシブル・プリント回路基板に取り付けられる2つの電気コネクタと、
本質的に前記2つの電気コネクタに渡る少なくとも1つの光導波路と、
前記2つの電気コネクタの一方を前記少なくとも1つの光導波路のうちの1つに属する端部に結合させる前記フレキシブル能動信号ケーブルの2つの端部のそれぞれにおける変換器とを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの光導波路のうちの1つは、データ転送速度が少なくとも25メガビット/秒である光信号であって、前記2つの電気コネクタの一方で受信した電気信号から変換される光信号を伝える、
フレキシブル能動信号ケーブル。
