Abstract

さもなければ、MEAの活性領域は、湿潤時に、膨れ上がってプレナムを部分的に閉鎖してしまうか、または、水素を供給することで乾燥したときに、構造的な弱点が生じるであろう。

前記膜−電極アセンブリは、陽極電極面を有し、
前記陽極プレートは、前記膜−電極アセンブリの電極面と隣い合い、前記膜−電極アセンブリの電極面に、封止ガスケットによって結合され、
前記封止ガスケット、前記電極面及び前記陽極プレートは、陽極流体を前記電極面に配送するための流体閉じ込め空間を形成し、
前記拡散材シートは、前記流体閉じ込め空間に配置され、
前記拡散材シートは、前記拡散材シートの少なくとも一つの側縁と、前記封止ガスケットとの間に設けられた少なくとも一つのプレナムを有する、
