Claims (35)
- 体内導管の内腔を通る流体の流れを閉塞する閉塞器具であって、
展開時に体内導管の内腔にわたって自身が折り重なるのを容易にするために、約5から60グラムの初張力を有するコイルと、
コイルに取り付けられ、そこから延在する繊維とを有する器具。 - コイルをプラチナで作成する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- コイルが344.74MPaから2413.17MPa(1平方インチ当たり約50,000から350,000ポンド)の引っ張り強度を有する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- コイルが約3から20センチメートルの長さを有する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- コイルが0.254mmから0.889mm(約0.010から0.035インチ)の外径を有する、請求項1に記載の器具。
- コイルが約3から15ミリメートルの外径を有する、請求項1に記載の器具。

- 体内導管の内腔を通る流体の流れを閉塞する閉塞器具であって、
2次コイル内に形成された1次コイルを有し、1次コイルは、展開時に1次コイルを身体導管の内腔にわたって折り重ねるのを容易にするために、1センチメートル当たり約1.25から15グラムの初張力という比率を有し、さらに、
1次コイルに取り付けられ、そこから延在する繊維を有する閉塞器具。 - 繊維が1次コイルに取り付けられたストランドを有し、ストランドが約3から8ミリメートルの長さを有し、ストランドが、展開時に流体の流れを閉塞するために1次コイルに沿って相互から隔置される、請求項12に記載の器具。
- 1次コイルをプラチナで作成する、請求項12に記載の器具。
- 1次コイルが約3から20センチメートルの長さを有する、請求項12に記載の器具。
- 2次コイルが約3から15ミリメートルの外径を有する、請求項12に記載の器具。
- 2次コイルが最大約4ミリメートルのカール空間によって隔置された一連のループを有する、請求項12に記載の器具。

体内導管の所望の閉塞ポイントで閉塞器具の第1部分を展開することと、
体内の所望の閉塞ポイントに対する第1部分の位置を確認することと、
第1部分が体内の所望の閉塞ポイントにある場合、ループを一緒に詰め込んで、内腔を閉塞するために、閉塞器具の残りの部分を展開することとを含む方法。 - 閉塞器具の残りの部分を展開することが、ループと一緒に詰め込んで、内腔を閉塞するために、閉塞器具の残りの部分を第1部分と一緒に折り重ねることを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- さらに、
第1部分が所望の閉塞ポイントから外れている場合に、体内導管の所望の閉塞ポイントに対する第1部分の位置を調節することを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。 - 閉塞器具が、
展開時にコイルの折り重なりを容易にするために約5から60グラムの初張力を有するコイルと、
コイルに取り付けられ、そこから延在する繊維とを有する、請求項21に記載の方法。 - さらに、
体内導管に誘導カテーテルを導入することと、
体内導管の所望の閉塞ポイントにマイクロカテーテルを位置決めするために、マイクロカテーテルを誘導カテーテルに通すことを含み、マイクロカテーテルがハブを有し、さらに、
マイクロカテーテルのハブに閉塞器具を装填することと、
体内導管の所望の閉塞ポイントで展開するために、閉塞器具をマイクロカテーテルの遠位端まで前進させることとを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。 - 誘導カテーテルが4/3と8/3mm(約4フレンチと約8フレンチ)の間である、請求項25に記載の方法。
- マイクロメートルが0.3556から0.9652mm(約0.014から0.038インチ)の内径を有する、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 閉塞器具がプッシュ・ワイヤで前進する、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 閉塞器具が、食塩水およびマイクロカテーテルの近位端と流体連絡するシリンジで前進する、請求項21に記載の方法。

誘導カテーテルと、
近位端および遠位端を有し、誘導カテーテルを通って体内導管内で自身を位置決めするように構成されたマイクロカテーテルとを有し、マイクロカテーテルが、近位端に隣接するハブを有し、さらに、
閉塞器具を有し、この閉塞器具が、
展開時にコイルの折り重なりを容易にするために約5から60グラムの初張力を有するコイルと、
コイルに取り付けられ、そこから延在する繊維とを有する塞栓形成キット。 - 誘導カテーテルが4/3と8/3mm(約4フレンチと約8フレンチ)の間である、請求項32に記載の塞栓形成キット。
- さらに、塞栓器具を前進させるプッシュ・ワイヤを有する、請求項32に記載の塞栓形成キット。
- 体内導管を通る流体の流れを閉塞する塞栓形成キットであって、
近位端および遠位端を有し、内腔を画定するマイクロカテーテルと、
閉塞器具とを有し、この閉塞器具が、
