Abstract
Description
1.技術分野
本開示は、一般に、多流体ラインシステムへ適用する流体導管コネクタの分野に関し、より詳細には、弁付ポートを有する流体ラインコネクタに関する。
深部静脈血栓症(DVT)および末梢浮腫等の血塊を形成する病状は、不動状態の患者にとって重大な問題である。このような患者には、手術中の患者、知覚麻痺患者、長期ベッド療養患者他が含まれる。これらの血塊症状は、概して下肢および/または骨盤の深部静脈に発生する。こうした腸骨、大腿、膝窩および脛骨等の静脈は、酸素が減少した血液を心臓へ環流する。これら静脈の血液循環が疾患、負傷または無活動が原因で抑制されると、血液は蓄積つまり鬱血する性向がある。静的な鬱血は、危険な血塊形成の格好な環境をもたらす。この症状にともなう主要な危険性は心臓血管の循環障害である。最も深刻なのは、血塊断片が剥離して移動することである。肺塞栓は主肺動脈閉塞を形成して生命を脅かす。
全内容を引用して本明細書に組み込んだ、2004年2月23日出願の米国特許出願第10/784,607号、発明の名称「圧迫装置」は、嵩を減らし、かつ患者への快適性および順応性を向上することによって、従来技術の不利な点および欠点を克服する例示の順次式圧迫装置を開示している。この順次式圧迫装置は、圧迫スリーブ(巻き付けパッド)の取外し可能部分、および加圧流体源からの取外し可能部分との結合を容易にする弁コネクタを含む。
開示の流体導管コネクタ装置および操作方法の例示の実施の形態を、身体の四肢に適用するための予防的圧迫装置および予防的圧迫装置を含む血管治療の点から説明し、取外し可能部分を有する圧迫装置の点から更に詳細に説明する。しかしながら、本開示は、例えば、複数の空気チューブ内の圧縮空気の時間シーケンスを必要とする医療および産業上の応用等、取外し可能な流体導管を有する広範な空圧システムを伴う応用を考えている。
Claims (20)
- 圧迫装置とともに用いるようになされた流体コネクタ装置であって、前記流体コネクタ装置は:
前記圧迫装置の複数の流体導管と加圧流体源との間の流体連通を容易にする複数の流体ポートが形成されたコネクタであって、前記複数の流体ポートはそれぞれ、流体の流れのために構成した流体オリフィスを画成する、コネクタ;および、
前記流体ポートの一つに配置される弁であって、前記弁は、前記流体ポートと係合するよう動作可能であり、それにより、前記コネクタからの、前記流体ポートに対応する前記圧迫装置の流体導管の抜去が、前記流体ポートの前記流体オリフィスの寸法を縮小する、弁;を備える流体コネクタ装置。 - 前記コネクタが、第1の複数の流体ポートを有する第1コネクタおよび第2の複数の流体ポートを有する第2コネクタを含む、
請求項1の流体コネクタ装置。 - 前記流体導管を抜去したときに、前記弁は、開位置にある前記弁を有する前記流体ポートの空圧特性を近似するようになされた、

前記ポートの一つはカップリングポートを備え、
前記第1の複数の流体導管の一つは、前記カップリングポートと取外し可能に結合するようになされたカップリング接続具を備え;
前記カップリングポート内に配置した弁であって、前記弁は、前記カップリングポートと係合するよう動作可能であり、それにより、前記カップリングポートからの、前記カップリング接続具の抜去が、前記カップリングポートの前記流体オリフィスの寸法を縮小する、弁;および、
第2の複数の流体導管に接続するとともに、前記第1コネクタと結合するようになされた第2コネクタ;を備える流体コネクタ装置。 - 前記弁がバネ負荷プランジャを含み、前記カップリング接続具は、それ自体から延びる係合部を含み、前記カップリング接続具が前記カップリングポートに結合するとき、前記係合部により前記バネ負荷プランジャが変位される、
