Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 信号光を伝送するための少なくとも1つの光導波路を有し、対向する2つの終端部並びに、前記少なくとも1つの光導波路に対して整合する上部参照面及び側部参照面を有する基板;
前記基板の各終端部上で受容される対応するキャリアブラケット;
前記基板に対して前記キャリアブラケットを整合させる対応する基板整合基準マーク;
前記基板及びキャリアブラケットを受ける基板キャリア;
前記基板キャリア及び前記キャリアブラケットを整合させる対応する整合基準マーク;
前記基板キャリア上で受容される光カプラ;並びに、
前記光カプラが前記少なくとも1つの光導波路に対して整合するように前記光カプラを前記基板に対して整合させる、少なくとも1つのカプラ整合基準マーク;
を有する光コネクタアダプタ。 - 請求項1に記載の光コネクタアダプタであって、
前記少なくとも1つの光導波路を通り抜けて伝送される信号光が増幅されるように前記光カプラは少なくとも1つのポンプ光源と接続する少なくとも1つの入力を有する、
ことを特徴とする光コネクタアダプタ。 - 請求項2に記載の光コネクタアダプタであって、
前記少なくとも1つのポンプ光源は、前記少なくとも1つの光導波路について前進方向のポンプ光源及び後退方向のポンプ光源を含む;及び、
前記少なくとも1つの入力は前記前進方向のポンプ光源と接続する第1の入力及び、前記後退方向のポンプ光源と接続する第2の入力を有する;
ことを特徴とする光コネクタアダプタ。 - 請求項1に記載の光コネクタアダプタであって、
各基板整合基準マークは前記上部参照面及び側部参照面によって画成された端部に整合ピンを有する;及び、
前記各基板整合基準マークは前記キャリアブラケット内の対応する案内孔内部に設置される;
ことを特徴とする光コネクタアダプタ。 - 請求項1に記載の光コネクタアダプタであって、
各キャリア整合基準マークは前記キャリアブラケットから外側へ延びる整合ピンを有する;及び、
前記各キャリア整合基準マークは前記基板キャリア内の対応する案内孔内部に設置される;
ことを特徴とする光コネクタアダプタ。 - 請求項1に記載の光コネクタアダプタであって、
前記少なくとも1つのカプラ整合基準マークは前記光カプラから延びる側面の延長である;及び、
前記少なくとも1つのカプラ整合基準マークは前記基板の前記側部参照面と接触する;
ことを特徴とする光コネクタアダプタ。 - 光コネクタアダプタを形成する方法であって:
信号光を伝送する少なくとも1つの光導波路を有し、前記基板は対向する2つの終端部並びに、前記少なくとも1つの光導波路に対して整合する上部参照面及び側部参照面を有する基板を形成する工程;
前記基板の各終端部に各対応するキャリアブラケットを設置し、対応する基板整合基準マークを使用して前記基板に対して前記キャリアブラケットを整合させる工程;
基板キャリアに、上に前記キャリアブラケットを有する前記基板を挿入し、対応するキャリア整合基準マークを使用して前記基板キャリア及び前記キャリアブラケットを整合させる工程;並びに、
前記基板キャリア上に光カプラを設置し、前記光カプラが前記少なくとも1つの光導波路に対して整合するように少なくとも1つのカプラ整合基準マークを使用して前記基板に対して前記光カプラを整合させる工程;
を有する方法。 - 請求項7に記載の方法であって、
前記少なくとも1つの光導波路を通り抜けて伝送される前記信号光が増幅されるように、前記光カプラは少なくとも1つのポンプ光源と接続する少なくとも1つの入力を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項7に記載の方法であって、
前記少なくとも1つのポンプ光源は、前記少なくとも1つの光導波路について前進方向のポンプ光源及び後退方向のポンプ光源を含む;及び、
前記少なくとも1つの入力は前記前進方向のポンプ光源と接続する第1の入力及び、前記後退方向のポンプ光源と接続する第2の入力を有する;
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項7に記載の方法であって、
各基板整合基準マークは前記上部参照面及び側部参照面によって画成された端部に整合ピンを有する;及び、
前記各基板整合基準マークは前記キャリアブラケット内の対応する案内孔内部に設置される;
ことを特徴とする方法。
