Abstract
【解決手段】燃料電池システム10は、燃料電池スタック12と熱交換器14と改質器16と燃焼器17とを備える。燃焼器17は、熱交換器14の外周に配置されるとともに、前記燃焼器17で発生される燃焼ガスを、前記熱交換器14に供給するための燃焼ガス経路120と、発電反応に使用されて燃料電池スタック12から排出される排ガスを前記熱交換器14に供給するための排ガス経路92とは、前記熱交換器14の熱媒体入口96の上流側で合流部122に合流する。

Claims (6)
- 電解質をアノード電極とカソード電極とで挟んで構成される電解質・電極接合体とセパレータとが積層される燃料電池を設け、複数の前記燃料電池が積層される燃料電池スタックと、前記燃料電池スタックに供給される前の酸化剤ガスを、熱媒体により加熱する熱交換器と、炭化水素を主体とする原燃料を改質し、前記燃料電池スタックに供給される燃料ガスを生成する改質器と、前記原燃料を燃焼させて燃焼ガスを発生させる燃焼器とを備える燃料電池システムであって、
少なくとも前記熱交換器及び前記改質器を含む流体部が前記燃料電池スタックの積層方向一端部側に配設され、前記熱交換器の外周に前記燃焼器が配置されるとともに、
前記燃焼器で発生される前記燃焼ガスを、前記熱媒体として前記熱交換器に供給するための燃焼ガス経路と、
発電反応に使用されて前記燃料電池スタックから排出される排ガスを、前記熱媒体として前記熱交換器に供給するための排ガス経路と、
前記熱交換器に前記熱媒体を導入するための熱媒体入口の上流側に設けられ、前記燃焼ガス経路と前記排ガス経路とが合流する合流部と、
を有することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記流体部は、前記原燃料と水蒸気とを含む混合燃料を生成するために、水を蒸発させる蒸発器を設けることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
- 請求項2記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記改質器は、前記熱交換器の内側に且つ前記燃料電池スタックに近接して配置されるとともに、前記改質器と蒸発器とは、互いに隣接して配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記流体部は、前記燃料電池スタックの中心軸に対して軸対称に配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、少なくとも前記燃料電池スタック及び前記流体部を収容する筐体を備え、
前記筐体内には、前記燃料電池スタックの積層方向他端部側に、前記燃料電池スタックに前記積層方向に締め付け荷重を付与する荷重付与機構が配設されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 請求項5記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記荷重付与機構は、前記燃料電池スタックの中心軸に対して軸対称に構成されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
