Abstract
【解決手段】少なくとも励起光源、希土類添加フッ化物光導波路、合波手段、出力用の光ファイバを有する光源において、希土類添加光導波路内部で生じたアップコンバージョン過程によって発生した、励起光よりも波長の短いASE光を、装置内部または装置外部に備えられた長波長遮断デバイスを少なくとも1つ以上経由して外部に出射されることを特徴としたASE光源。

Claims (3)
- 少なくとも励起光源、希土類添加フッ化物光導波路、合波手段、出力用の光ファイバを有する光源において、希土類添加光導波路内部で生じたアップコンバージョン過程によって発生した、励起光よりも波長の短いASE光を、装置内部または装置外部に備えられた長波長遮断デバイスを少なくとも1つ以上経由して外部に出射されることを特徴としたASE光源。
- 希土類添加光導波路から出力光ファイバまでの全ての経路で光導波路が使用されており、空間を全く介することなくASE光が出力されることを特徴とした、請求項1記載のASE光源。
- 希土類添加ファイバのコアに添加された元素が、La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Luのうち1つ以上を含むことを特徴とした、請求項1又は2記載のASE光源。
