Abstract
【解決手段】非磁性基材1と、非磁性基材1の上に形成された非磁性下地層3と、非磁性下地層3の上に形成され、異方性磁界がHk1、厚さがt1、飽和磁化がMs1の垂直磁気異方性を有する第1記録層4と、第1記録層4の上又は下に該第1記録層4に接して形成され、異方性磁界がHk2、厚さがt2、飽和磁化がMs2の垂直磁気異方性を有する第2記録層5とを有し、上記異方性磁界Hk1、Hk2、厚さt1、t2、及び飽和磁化Ms1、Ms2が、それぞれHk2<Hk1、及び(t2・Ms2)/(t1・Ms1)<1を満たす磁気記録媒体10による。

Description
次に、本発明の実施の形態に係る磁気記録媒体について、その製造工程を追いながら詳細に説明する。
本実施形態では、第1実施形態の磁気記録媒体10を備えた磁気記録装置について説明する。
前記基材の上に形成された下地層と、
前記下地層の上に形成され、異方性磁界がHk1、厚さがt1、飽和磁化がMs1の垂直磁気異方性を有する第1記録層と、
前記第1記録層の上又は下に該第1記録層に接して形成され、異方性磁界がHk2、厚さがt2、飽和磁化がMs2の垂直磁気異方性を有する第2記録層とを有し、
前記異方性磁界Hk1、Hk2、前記厚さt1、t2、及び前記飽和磁化Ms1、Ms2が、それぞれHk2<Hk1、及び(t2・Ms2)/(t1・Ms1)<1を満たすことを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。
前記基材の上に形成された下地層と、
前記下地層の上に形成され、異方性磁界がHk1、厚さがt1、飽和磁化がMs1の垂直磁気異方性を有する第1記録層と、
前記第1記録層の上又は下に該第1記録層に接して形成され、異方性磁界がHk2、厚さがt2、飽和磁化がMs2の垂直磁気異方性を有する第2記録層とを備えた磁気記録媒体と、
前記磁気記録媒体に対向して設けられた磁気ヘッドとを有し、
前記異方性磁界Hk1、Hk2、前記厚さt1、t2、及び前記飽和磁化Ms1、Ms2が、それぞれHk2<Hk1、及び(t2・Ms2)/(t1・Ms1)<1を満たすことを特徴とする磁気記録装置。
Claims (10)
- 基材と、
前記基材の上に形成された下地層と、
前記下地層の上に形成され、異方性磁界がHk1、厚さがt1、飽和磁化がMs1の垂直磁気異方性を有する第1記録層と、
前記第1記録層の上又は下に該第1記録層に接して形成され、異方性磁界がHk2、厚さがt2、飽和磁化がMs2の垂直磁気異方性を有する第2記録層とを有し、
前記異方性磁界Hk1、Hk2、前記厚さt1、t2、及び前記飽和磁化Ms1、Ms2が、それぞれHk2<Hk1、及び(t2・Ms2)/(t1・Ms1)<1を満たすことを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。 - 前記比(t2・Ms2)/(t1・Ms1)が、0.4以上0.8以下の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 前記第1記録層の磁化曲線の反転部の傾きα1と、前記第2記録層の磁化曲線の反転部の傾きα2が、α2>α1を満たすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 前記第1記録層は、磁性粒子を非磁性材料内に分散させてなるグラニュラー構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 前記磁性粒子はCo、Ni、及びFeのいずれかよりなり、前記比磁性材料はSi、Ta、Ti、Zr、Cr、Hf、Mg、及びAlのいずれかの酸化物又は窒化物であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 前記第2記録層は、Co、Ni、及びFeのいずれかを含む合金よりなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 前記基材の上に、第1軟磁性層、非磁性層、及び第2軟磁性層がこの順に形成され、前記第2軟磁性層の上に前記下地層が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 基材と、
前記基材の上に形成された下地層と、
前記下地層の上に形成され、異方性磁界がHk1、厚さがt1、飽和磁化がMs1の垂直磁気異方性を有する第1記録層と、
前記第1記録層の上又は下に該第1記録層に接して形成され、異方性磁界がHk2、厚さがt2、飽和磁化がMs2の垂直磁気異方性を有する第2記録層とを備えた磁気記録媒体と、
前記磁気記録媒体に対向して設けられた磁気ヘッドとを有し、
前記異方性磁界Hk1、Hk2、前記厚さt1、t2、及び前記飽和磁化Ms1、Ms2が、それぞれHk2<Hk1、及び(t2・Ms2)/(t1・Ms1)<1を満たすことを特徴とする磁気記録装置。 - 前記比(t2・Ms2)/(t1・Ms1)が、0.4以上0.8以下の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の磁気記録装置。
- 前記第1記録層の磁化曲線の反転部の傾きα1と、前記第2記録層の磁化曲線の反転部の傾きα2が、α2>α1を満たすことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の磁気記録装置。
