Abstract
【解決手段】磁気記録媒体10は、基板10a上に軟磁性裏打ち層10b、非磁性中間層10c、第1磁性記録層10d、交換結合力制御層10e、第2磁性記録層10f、第3磁性記録層10g、保護層10hを積層して構成され、第1磁性記録層10dおよび第2磁性記録層10fは、CoCrPt合金等と酸化物を含むグラニュラー材料からなり、第3磁性記録層10gは、CoCrPt合金等の非グラニュラー材料からなる。

であることが好ましいが、図3に示す磁気記録媒体20のように、第1磁性記録層10dと第2磁性記録層10fのHkの大きさは逆でも構わない。

Claims (10)
- 垂直磁気記録用の磁気記録媒体であって、
基板上に積層された層の一部に、第1磁性記録層と、交換結合力制御層と、第2磁性記録層と、第3磁性記録層とを積層して形成された層を含み、
前記第1磁性記録層および前記第2磁性記録層は、グラニュラー材料からなり、
前記第3磁性記録層は、非グラニュラー材料からなることを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。 - 前記第1磁性記録層は、前記第2磁性記録層よりも高い異方性磁界を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 前記第1磁性記録層は、前記第2磁性記録層よりも低い異方性磁界を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 前記第1磁性記録層および前記第2磁性記録層は、CoCrPt合金と酸化物を含むグラニュラー材料からなり、
前記第3磁性記録層は、CoCrPtを含む合金材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の磁気記録媒体。 - 前記交換結合力制御層は、Ruからなることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 垂直磁気記録用の磁気記録媒体を有する磁気記録装置であって、
前記磁気記録媒体は、
基板上に積層された層の一部に、第1磁性記録層と、交換結合力制御層と、第2磁性記録層と、第3磁性記録層とを積層して形成された層を含み、
前記第1磁性記録層および前記第2磁性記録層は、グラニュラー材料からなり、
前記第3磁性記録層は、非グラニュラー材料からなることを特徴とする磁気記録装置。 - 前記第1磁性記録層は、前記第2磁性記録層よりも高い異方性磁界を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の磁気記録装置。
- 前記第1磁性記録層は、前記第2磁性記録層よりも低い異方性磁界を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の磁気記録装置。
- 前記第1磁性記録層および前記第2磁性記録層は、CoCrPt合金と酸化物を含むグラニュラー材料からなり、
前記第3磁性記録層は、CoCrPtを含む合金材料からなることを特徴とする請求項6〜8のいずれか1つに記載の磁気記録装置。 - 前記交換結合力制御層は、Ruからなることを特徴とする請求項6〜9のいずれか1つに記載の磁気記録装置。
