Abstract
【解決手段】内燃機関の燃焼室内に発生するイオン電流が設定された所定値を上回って発生している発生期間を計測し、計測した発生期間に基づいて内燃機関の運転状態における空燃比を判定するものであって、計測した発生期間が基準値を下回る場合に空燃比が理論空燃比以外であると判定するものであり、基準値を、実際の空燃比が理論空燃比である場合の点火時期に対応する発生期間に基づいて設定するとともに点火時期の遅角量が大きいほど大きく設定する。

Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の燃焼室内に発生するイオン電流が設定された所定値を上回って発生している発生期間を計測し、計測した発生期間に基づいて内燃機関の運転状態における空燃比を判定するものであって、
計測した発生期間が基準値を下回る場合に空燃比が理論空燃比以外であると判定するものであり、
基準値を、実際の空燃比が理論空燃比である場合の点火時期に対応する発生期間に基づいて設定するとともに点火時期の遅角量が大きいほど大きく設定するイオン電流に基づく内燃機関の空燃比判定方法。 - 計測した発生期間が基準値より小である場合に、空燃比が理論空燃比よりリーンな状態にあると判定する請求項1記載のイオン電流に基づく内燃機関の空燃比判定方法。
