Abstract
【解決手段】2色以上の顔料と分散剤とが、アルカリ存在下に非プロトン性有機溶剤を含む溶剤に溶解している溶液を用意する工程;2色以上の顔料の沈殿媒体を用意する工程;溶液と該沈殿媒体とを別々のマイクロ流路に供給する工程;および、別々のマイクロ流路からそれぞれ流出する該溶液の流れおよび沈殿媒体の流れ同士を合流させることにより、2色以上の顔料を析出させる工程を有する顔料分散体の製造方法。

Description
これらの方法には、これまで水溶性の染料インクが適用されてきたが、にじみやフェザリング、耐候性といわれる現象が現れたりする場合があった。これらを改善するために顔料分散インクを使用することが、特許文献1に開示されている。
該2色以上の顔料の沈殿媒体を用意する工程;
該溶液と該沈殿媒体とを別々のマイクロ流路に供給する工程;および、
該別々のマイクロ流路からそれぞれ流出する該溶液の流れおよび該沈殿媒体の流れ同士を合流させることにより、該2色以上の顔料を析出させる工程
を有する顔料分散体の製造方法が提供される。

・ブラック、シアン、マゼンタ、イエロー、オレンジ、ブルー、
・ブラック、シアン、マゼンタ、イエロー、オレンジ、グリーン、ブルー。
本実施例では、図1に示すようなマイクロ流路を利用した。反応場4に反応液Aを供給するマイクロ流路3aはテフロン(登録商標)製の円形チューブで形成し、その開口径は200μm(直径)である。反応場に反応液Bを供給するマイクロ流路3bはガラス製の円形パイプで形成し、その開口径は250μm(直径)である。
本実施例では、図2に示すようなマイクロ流路を利用した。反応場4に反応液Aを供給するマイクロ流路3aはガラス製で流路幅は100μmで、反応場に反応液Bを供給するマイクロ流路3bはガラス製で流路幅は100μmである。これらマイクロ流路の開口径の短辺はいずれも100μmである。本実施例では反応場4(反応液AおよびBが合流する個所)もマイクロオーダーの流路であり流路幅は200μmである。
第1実施例と同様な反応液Aと反応液Bを用意した。反応液Aを滴下ロートに入れ、7ml/minで、反応液Bが100ml入ったビーカーをメカニカルスタラーで攪拌しながら滴下した。再沈殿反応と分散が起こりグリーンの色を呈する顔料の分散体を得た。その分散体の粒子の粒径は不均一なものであり、100nmを超えるものもあり分散度指数が0.252であった。このグリーンの顔料分散体をインクジェット用インクとして用いBJプリンターS530(商品名。キヤノン社製)のインクタンクに充填し、普通紙に記録すると色相が変化してしまったグリーンの文字が見られ、一部の紙面上に青味がかったグリーンの印字が確認された。
本実施例では、図1に示すようなマイクロ流路3を利用した。反応場4に反応液Aを供給するマイクロ流路3aはテフロン(登録商標)製円形チューブで形成し、その開口径は300μm(直径)である。反応場に反応液Bを供給するマイクロ流路3bはガラス製円形パイプで形成し、その開口径は350μm(直径)である。
ビーカーにCopper(II)2、9、16、23−tetra−tert−butyl−29H,31H−phthalocyanineのシアン顔料10質量部とC.I.Pigment Red122のキナクリドン顔料10質量部とC.I.Pigment Yellow 180のイエローアゾ顔料10質量部を加え、分散剤としてラウリル硫酸ナトリウムを80質量部を加え、更にイオン交換水を400質量部加え超音波スターラーにて攪拌した。超音波スターラーにての攪拌中は分散液は黒色を呈していた。分散液を一週間静置したところ、層状に色が分離した沈殿物が確認された。
本実施例では、図3に示すように、マイクロ流路対(反応液AおよびBを流して合流させる二つのマイクロ流路3aおよび3bの対と、3cおよび3dの対)が並列に二つ並んだものを使用した。反応場4aに反応液A−aを供給するマイクロ流路3aと反応場4bに反応液A−bを供給するマイクロ流路3dはテフロン(登録商標)製円形チューブで形成し、それらの開口径は200μm(直径)である。反応場4aおよび4bにそれぞれ反応液Bを供給するマイクロ流路3bおよび3cはガラス製円形パイプで形成し、それらの開口径は250μm(直径)である。一方(反応場4a側)ではグリーンの分散体を製造し、もう一方(反応場4b側)ではオレンジの分散体を製造する。
C.I.Pigment Red 254のレッド顔料の使用量を15質量部に、C.I.Pigment Yellow 128のイエローアゾ顔料の使用量を5質量部に変えた以外は実施例2と同様な操作を行なったところ黄味を帯びた赤色顔料分散体が得られた。得られた顔料分散体は、第2実施例と同様、優れたものであった。

- 2色以上の顔料と分散剤とが、アルカリ存在下に非プロトン性有機溶剤を含む溶剤に溶解している溶液を用意する工程;
該2色以上の顔料の沈殿媒体を用意する工程;
該溶液と該沈殿媒体とを別々のマイクロ流路に供給する工程;および、
該別々のマイクロ流路からそれぞれ流出する該溶液の流れおよび該沈殿媒体の流れ同士を合流させることにより、該2色以上の顔料を析出させる工程
を有する顔料分散体の製造方法。 - 前記顔料分散体が、前記分散剤で覆われた、前記2色以上の顔料同士の分子会合体を含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記顔料分散体が、前記2色以上の顔料の加法混色にて形成される色を呈する請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記沈殿媒体が水である請求項1〜3の何れか一項記載の方法。
- 前記マイクロ流路の開口径が3000μm以下である請求項1〜4の何れか一項記載の方法。
- 前記顔料分散体が特色顔料分散体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の顔料分散体の製造方法。
- 前記顔料分散体が黒色顔料分散体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の顔料分散体の製造方法。
