Abstract
【解決手段】不織布10の形成後で且つ不織布10をピンテンター201のピン205から引き抜く前に、不織布10を冷却する。冷却は冷風の吹き付けによって行うことが好ましい。不織布10をピン205から引き抜く際に、不織布10のうち、ピンテンター201で把持された部分にのみ、ピン205の基部側から先端部側への方向に冷風を吹き付けることも好ましい。第1繊維集合体11’に含まれる熱収縮性繊維として複合繊維を用い、該複合繊維の構成樹脂のうち、収縮率の高い方の樹脂の融点よりも低い温度の熱を付与して熱収縮を行うことも好ましい。

Description
前記不織布の形成後で且つ該不織布をピンテンターのピンから引き抜く前に、該不織布を冷却する不織布の製造方法を提供することにより前記目的を達成したものである。
第1繊維集合体の構成繊維として、表1に示す樹脂の組み合わせからなる偏芯の芯鞘型複合繊維(潜在捲縮性繊維)を用いた。この繊維は熱の付与によってコイル状に三次元の捲縮が発現して収縮するものである。繊維の太さは2.2dtex、長さは51mmであった。表中の融点は、複合繊維における収縮率の高い方の樹脂の融点である。この潜在捲縮性繊維を用いて、カード機により繊維ウエブを形成した。この繊維ウエブの坪量は表1に示す通りである。

Claims (6)
- 熱収縮性繊維を含む第1繊維集合体と、非熱収縮性繊維を含む第2繊維集合体とが積層され、両繊維集合体が多数の接合部によって部分的に接合されてなる積層体を、ピンテンターで把持して前記熱収縮性繊維の熱収縮を規制しつつ該積層体に熱を付与して該積層体中の第1繊維集合体をその平面方向に収縮させ、前記接合部間に位置する第2繊維集合体を隆起させて、多数の凸部を有する不織布を製造する方法であって、
前記不織布の形成後で且つ該不織布をピンテンターのピンから引き抜く前に、該不織布を冷却する不織布の製造方法。 - 冷風の吹き付けによって不織布を冷却する請求項1記載の製造方法。
- 不織布をピンから引き抜く際に、該不織布に向けて、ピンの基部側から先端部側への方向に冷風を吹き付ける請求項1又は記載の製造方法。
- 不織布のうち、ピンテンターで把持された部分にのみ冷風を吹き付ける請求項3記載の製造方法。
- 第1繊維集合体に含まれる熱収縮性繊維として複合繊維を用い、該複合繊維の構成樹脂のうち、収縮率の高い方の樹脂の融点よりも低い温度の熱を付与して熱収縮を行う請求項1ないし4の何れかに記載の製造方法。
- 第1繊維集合体に含まれる熱収縮性繊維として、その最大収縮率発現温度が、第2繊維集合体に含まれる非熱収縮性繊維の融点よりも低いものを用い、
第2繊維集合体に含まれる非熱収縮性繊維の融点よりも低い温度の熱を付与して第1繊維集合体を収縮させる請求項1ないし5の何れかに記載の製造方法。
