Abstract
【解決手段】LEDパッケージは、安着溝110が形成されるハウジング100と、上記安着溝に安着される一つ以上のLED200と、上面が凸の曲面で形成されるように傾いて形成され上記LEDの上側を覆うように結合されるレンズ300と、を含んで構成される。前記安着溝の内壁には反射板120が備えられる。LEDパッケージ及びこれを用いたバックライトユニットは、出力窓に明部(Hot−spot)が形成されないように光を均等に発散させることができ、より単純な形状のレンズを用いて指向角を広げることができ、相互に異なる色相の光が混合されるカラーミキシング区域を最小化することにより製品の薄型化を具現できる長所がある。

Claims (11)
- 安着溝が形成されるハウジングと、
前記安着溝に安着される一つ以上のLEDと、
上面が凸の曲面で形成されるように傾いて形成され、半値幅が120度以上の大きい指向角を有し前記LEDの上側を覆うように結合されるレンズ300と、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とするLEDパッケージ。 - 前記安着溝は、円形の水平断面を有するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記レンズの上面に形成された勾配の高さは、前記勾配が始まる地点のレンズの直径の10乃至30%であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記安着溝は、多角形の水平断面を有するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記レンズの上面に形成された勾配の高さは、前記勾配が始まる地点のレンズの対角線長さの10乃至30%であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記レンズは、前記安着溝の入り口を覆うように結合されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記レンズは、前記安着溝の内部を満たすように注入される充填剤で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記レンズは、ガラス、シリコン、レジンのいずれか一つの物質から製作されることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記安着溝には、相互に異なる色相の光を発光する二つ以上のLEDが装着されることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の構造で構成されるLEDパッケージを一つ以上含むことを特徴とするバックライトユニット。
- 相互に異なる色相の光を発光する二つ以上のLEDが相互に隣接するように群を成して配列されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバックライトユニット。
