Abstract
【解決手段】二次電池A1は、内部に発電要素2を有し、電池外装缶1の封口板1aの板素材に設けた第1残厚t1を有する第1加工凹部5aの所定位置に第2残厚t2を有する第2加工凹部5bを設け、この第2加工凹部内にさらに薄い第3残厚t3を有しかつ外周辺に波形屈曲部の溝部5cを設け、この溝部5cの内周寄り位置に湾曲部5dを形成し、所定の防爆圧以上の内圧発生時に溝部5cを切裂させて内圧を逃がすことにより安全弁5を作動させるように構成して防爆構造を形成している。

Claims (4)
- 発電要素2を内蔵し、電池外装缶1の端板に内圧で作動する安全弁5を設けた二次電池において、安全弁5を設ける上記端板の板素材の所定位置に第1残厚t1を有する安全弁用凹部を設け、安全弁用凹部内にさらに薄い第2残厚t2を有しかつ外周辺に波形屈曲部を有する加工凹部5bを設け、この加工凹部5bの内周寄り位置に第3残厚t3を有する溝部5cを形成し、所定の防爆圧以上の内圧発生時に溝部5cを切裂させて内圧を逃がすことにより安全弁5を作動させるように構成した二次電池の防爆構造。
- 前記安全弁5を長円形状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池の防爆構造。
- 前記溝部5cを、第2残厚t2を有する加工凹部5bの外面又は内面のいずれかに設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池の防爆構造。
- 前記安全弁5を電池外装缶1の上端部の封口板1a又は下底板1bに設けたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の二次電池の防爆構造。
