Abstract
【解決手段】接合孔3を予め穿設してある第一材料1に接合孔3を被覆するように第二材料2を重ね合わせ、接合孔3に対応させて配置した接合ツール8を回転しながら第二材料2に押し付け、摩擦熱で第二材料2を固相状態のまま局所的に軟化させて第一材料1の接合孔3へ入り込ませ、該接合孔3に入り込ませた第二材料2に第一材料1側との幾何学的な係合部(山部5’とアンカー部6’)を形成せしめてから接合ツール8を引き抜き、係合部を硬化させて第一材料1と第二材料2とを接合する。

Claims (13)
- 接合孔を予め穿設してある第一材料に前記接合孔を被覆するように第二材料を重ね合わせ、前記接合孔に対応させて配置した接合ツールを回転しながら第二材料に押し付け、該第二材料と接合ツールとの間に生じた摩擦熱で前記第二材料を固相状態のまま局所的に軟化させて第一材料の接合孔へ入り込ませ、該接合孔に入り込ませた第二材料に前記第一材料側との幾何学的な係合部を形成せしめてから前記接合ツールを引き抜き、前記係合部を硬化させて第一材料と第二材料とを接合することを特徴とする材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料の接合孔の内側面に溝部を予め形成しておき、該溝部と嵌合して第二材料側に形成される山部を係合部とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第二材料側における第一材料の接合孔に対応する位置を部分的に板厚増加して材料不足を補うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料の接合孔内に挿入可能なピン部を有する接合ツールを用いて第二材料を前記接合孔へ入り込ませることを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第二材料側から接合ツールを第二材料に押し付けて接合を図ることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料側から接合孔を通し接合ツールのピン部を第二材料に押し付けて接合を図ることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料の反第二材料側に配置された裏当て部材に、前記第一材料の接合孔と対峙し且つ該接合孔より大きな平面断面を有する凹部を予め形成しておくと共に、第二材料側から接合ツールを第二材料に押し付けて接合を図り、前記凹部と嵌合して第二材料側に形成されるアンカー部を係合部とすることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料の反第二材料側に、接合孔と連続し且つ該接合孔より大きな平面断面を有する凹部を予め形成しておくと共に、第二材料側から接合ツールを第二材料に押し付けて接合を図り、前記凹部と嵌合して第二材料側に形成されるアンカー部を係合部とすることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料側から接合孔を通し接合ツールのピン部を第二材料に押し付けて接合を図り、接合ツールのピン部の基端側周囲と第一材料の接合孔周囲との間の隙間に張り出して第二材料側に形成されるアンカー部を係合部とすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料の接合孔に第二材料側へ向け徐々に狭まるテーパ形状を予め付しておき、この接合孔の内側面と嵌合して第二材料側に形成されるテーパ形状部を係合部とすることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9の何れかに記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料と第二材料の端部同士を重ね合わせて接合するにあたり、該各端部を重ね合わせた時に、その重ね合わせ部分の板厚が第一材料及び第二材料の一枚分となるように前記各端部の互いに向き合う側を切り欠いて段差の無い継手構造を採用することを特徴とする請求項1乃至10の何れかに記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料に対し接合孔をスポット状に穿設しておき、該接合孔に対応した一点に接合ツールを位置決めしてスポット接合を行うことを特徴とする請求項1乃至11の何れかに記載の材料の接合方法。
- 第一材料に対し接合孔をスリット状に穿設しておき、該接合孔の長手方向に接合ツールを移動させて連続接合を行うことを特徴とする請求項1乃至11の何れかに記載の材料の接合方法。
