Abstract
【解決手段】レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材2と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材3とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面4を溶融して接合する熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法は、第1の部材2と第2の部材3とを接触させ、2つの部材の少なくとも接触面4を、予加熱手段20でその溶融温度より低い温度で予加熱し、接触面4にレーザ光発生器10のレーザ光Rを第1の部材側から照射し2つの部材の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融させたあと、溶融部を、後加熱手段20Aでその溶融温度より低い温度で後加熱して徐冷する。予加熱および後加熱は、2つの部材のガラス転移温度以上で加熱することが好ましい。

Claims (13)
- レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面を溶融して接合する熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法であって、
前記第1の部材と第2の部材とを接触させ、前記2つの部材の少なくとも接触面を、その溶融温度より低い温度で予加熱し、前記接触面に第1の部材側からレーザ光を照射し前記2つの部材の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融させたあと、該溶融部を、その溶融温度より低い温度で後加熱することを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。 - 前記接触面の予加熱、および前記溶融部の後加熱は、前記2つの部材を収容する空間内を加熱してなされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。
- 前記接触面の予加熱、および前記溶融部の後加熱は、前記2つの部材に温風を吹付けてなされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。
- 前記接触面の予加熱、および前記溶融部の後加熱は、前記2つの部材の少なくとも一方の接触面に第1の部材側から予備レーザ光を照射して加熱することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。
- レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面を溶融して接合する熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法であって、
前記第1の部材と第2の部材とを接触させ、前記接触面に第1の部材側からレーザ光を照射し前記2つの部材の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融させたあと、前記2つの部材の溶融部を、その溶融温度より低い温度で後加熱し、さらに該溶融部をより低い温度で後加熱することを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。 - レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面を溶融して接合するレーザ溶着装置であって、
前記第1の部材と第2の部材との少なくとも接触面を、その溶融温度より低い温度で予加熱する予加熱手段と、前記第1の部材と第2の部材との接触面の少なくとも一方の接触面を第1の部材側からレーザ光を照射して溶融させるレーザ光発生手段と、溶融された接触面を、その溶融温度より低い温度で後加熱する後加熱手段とを備えることを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。 - 前記予加熱手段および後加熱手段は、前記第1の部材と第2の部材とを収容するケーシングを備えており、該ケーシング内の空間を加熱する加熱手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。
- 前記予加熱手段および後加熱手段は、前記第1の部材と第2の部材とを加熱する温風供給手段であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。
- レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材とを接触させ、レーザ光発生手段から発生したレーザ光を第1の部材側から照射して接触面の少なくとも一方の面を溶融して接合するレーザ溶着装置であって、
前記レーザ光発生手段は、前記接触面を、その溶融温度より低い温度で予加熱する第1の加熱手段と、前記接触面の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融する第2の加熱手段と、前記接触面を、その溶融温度より低い温度で後加熱する第3の加熱手段とを有することを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。 - 前記第1、第2、第3の加熱手段は、1つのレーザ光発生手段から発生されたレーザ光を分光し、主加熱手段を構成する第2の加熱手段はトップハット分布型の強度分布を有するレーザ光を発生し、第1および第3の加熱手段はガウシアン分布型の強度分布を有するレーザ光を発生することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。
- 前記第1、第2、第3の加熱手段は、それぞれ別々のレーザ光発生手段から構成され、主加熱手段を構成する第2の加熱手段はトップハット分布型の強度分布を有するレーザ光を発生し、第1および第3の加熱手段はガウシアン分布型の強度分布を有するレーザ光を発生することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。
- 前記第1、第2、第3の加熱手段は、それぞれ別々のレーザ光発生手段から構成され、主加熱手段を構成する第2の加熱手段から照射されるレーザ光は前記接触面と焦点が一致し、第1および第3の加熱手段から照射されるレーザ光は前記接触面と焦点が一致していないことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。
- レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面を溶融して接合するレーザ溶着装置であって、
前記第1の部材側からレーザ光を照射して第1の部材と第2の部材との接触面の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融させるレーザ光発生手段と、
前記レーザ光発生手段を移動させると共に、発生されるレーザ光の焦点位置を調整する焦点調整移動手段とを備え、
前記レーザ光の焦点位置を調整して、前記接触面を加熱するエネルギー密度を調整することを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。
