Abstract
【解決手段】外面が耳穴の皮膚に密着されるように耳穴に挿し込まれ、外面を通じて耳穴の皮膚に相異なる波長を有する複数の光を照射し、耳穴の皮膚から反射された光を検出して生体情報が含まれているPPG信号を出力するPPG測定モジュールを含む生体信号測定部と、PPG測定モジュールで測定されたPPG信号を利用して所定の生体情報を生成するPPG信号処理部を含む制御部と、制御部で生成された生体情報をユーザに表示する出力部とを含む生体信号測定装置である。

Description
受光部120は、前記プローブ110を通過した赤外線を集光する集光素子と、前記集光素子で集光された赤外線を受けて鼓膜及び前記鼓膜の周辺領域のうち少なくとも1箇所から放射される赤外線を受光するように配置された赤外線受光素子を備える。
また、前記生体信号測定装置のPPG信号処理部は、PPG信号のピークを検出するためのピーク検出部と、ピーク値を利用して所定の生体情報を生成する信号処理部とを含むことが望ましい。
また、PPG信号処理部に含まれた信号処理部は、ピーク値が検出されたPPG信号を帯域フィルタリングしてユーザの呼吸を測定する呼吸検出部を含むことが望ましい。
また、PPG信号処理部に含まれた信号処理部は、検出された相異なる波長のPPG信号のAC成分及びDC成分を検出して反射係数を測定する反射係数検出部と、相異なる波長の反射係数の比によって血液内の酸素飽和度を検出する酸素飽和度検出部とを含むことが望ましい。
また、前記生体信号測定装置の出力部は、移動通信端末機に含まれた液晶ディスプレイ装置であることが望ましく、制御部で生成されたユーザの生体情報は、前記移動通信端末機を通じて所定の診療機関に無線伝送されることがより望ましい。
また、前記(b3)段階は、ピークが検出されたPPG信号を帯域フィルタリングしてユーザの呼吸数を検出する段階を含むことが望ましい。
また、前記生体信号測定方法が行われる生体信号測定装置の出力部は、移動通信端末機に備わった液晶ディスプレイであり、(c)段階は、(a)段階及び(b)段階で測定された生体信号を移動通信端末機を通じて所定の診療機関に無線伝送する段階を含むことが望ましい。
また、本発明の生体信号測定装置が移動通信端末機と結合される場合に、測定された生体信号は、移動通信端末機に備わったディスプレイ装置を通じてユーザに出力され、移動通信端末機を通じて測定された結果を遠隔の診療機関に容易に伝送できるので、遠隔診療を可能にする。
図5Aは、本発明の望ましい第1実施形態による生体信号測定装置の構成を示すブロック図であり、図5Bは、本発明による生体信号測定装置をモバイル機器を利用して構成した一実施形態を示す図面である。
図7は、図6に示された体温処理部570の構成を示す詳細ブロック図である。前記体温処理部570は、体温測定モジュール510から出力された信号を増幅するための増幅部571、増幅された信号からノイズ成分を除去するためのフィルタ部572、及びフィルタリングされた信号をデジタル信号値に変換して伝送部565に伝達するためのA/D変換部573で構成される。
また、信号処理部587は、ユーザの酸素飽和度を測定するために、動脈の脈動成分による反射光の強度変化量を検出するためにピーク検出部585から出力された波形の最大値と最低値間の変化成分を検出するAC検出部920、非脈動成分による反射光の強度を検出するためにピーク検出部585から出力された波形の最低値を検出するDC検出部922、脈波のDC及びAC成分を利用して反射係数を計算する反射係数検出部924、及び反射係数によってユーザの酸素飽和度を計算する酸素飽和度検出部926を含む。
また、信号処理部587は、ユーザの呼吸を検出するために、ピーク検出部585から入力された脈波信号を帯域フィルタリングするBPF(Band Pass Filter)930及び帯域フィルタリングされた脈波信号を利用してユーザの呼吸を検出する呼吸検出部935を含む。
まず、本発明による生体信号測定部500で体温を測定する方法について説明する。人体皮膚組織の温度は、各部位によって偏差があり、また外部温度によっても変化が激しいので、体温測定部位をよく選択しなければならない。通常、接触式体温計の場合、体温測定部位は、こわきや肛門を利用しており、非接触式体温計の場合には、外耳道の内部の鼓膜を利用する。鼓膜の温度は、人体内部の温度に非常に近いと医学的に知られており、また外部温度の影響をほとんど受けない。このような体内温度と輻射電磁波あるいは赤外線エネルギーとの関係は、次の通りである。
以下、酸素飽和度検出部926で行われる酸素飽和度の検出過程を説明する。まず、少なくとも二つの波長のうち一つλxを選択し、ヘモグロビンの形態によって吸光係数の差が最も大きくなる波長λoを選択する。
その後、酸素飽和度検出部926は、ROXと前記ヘモグロビン濃度CHbとを利用して次の式(9)によって血液に含まれた酸素飽和度Sを計算する。
本発明の酸素飽和度の測定に必要な脈波測定過程で動脈血管内の血流量の変化は、心臓拍動によって引き起こされ、心臓拍動を測定することが脈拍である。図8に示されたように、人体の所定部位で入射された後に反射された光は、光検出器で受光されて電気的な信号に変換される。変換された電気的信号は、増幅器581で増幅されて一定時間収集されて脈波波形データが形成され、脈波波形データは、帯域通過フィルタ583によって帯域通過フィルタリングされる(S1410)。ピーク検出部585は、帯域通過フィルタリングされた信号を微分し、傾斜が陽から陰に変化する変曲点を探す(S1420)。変曲点のサイズが初期に指定したしきい値と比較して大きい場合、図15Aのようにピークに検出する(S1430)。脈拍検出部910は、検出されたピーク間の平均時間差を計算し(S1440)、ピーク間の平均時間差で60秒を割ることによって分当り脈拍数を計算する(S1450)。
図9及び図15Bを参照すれば、脈波波形(PPG)のAC成分は、心臓の拍動と同期するだけでなく、呼吸信号とも同期する。PPG信号と呼吸との相関関係は、次の通りである。人体の恒常性維持特性による発生起電によって吸気時には、胸部内の圧力が低くなって心臓への血液の帰還量が増加し、心拍出量の増加によって血圧が高まり、減圧中枢が興奮されて末梢動脈が拡張される。呼気時には、反対の生理作用によって末梢動脈が収縮し、末梢動脈の拡張と収縮とによる光路長の変化でPPGに反映される。このような呼吸信号及びAC信号の同期は、呼吸によって血流量の変化が発生し、これがPPGに反映されるために起こる。
図16A及び図16Bは、本発明を検証するために測定したPPG信号と呼吸信号とを表したものであって、図16Aは、本発明によって測定されたPPG信号を、図16Bは、呼吸信号を各々示す。また、図17Aは、図16AのPPG信号を本発明によって帯域通過フィルタリングを行った後のPPG波形であり、図17Bは、呼吸信号だけを表すために図16Bの呼吸信号から低周波数成分を除去した波形である。帯域通過されたPPG信号と呼吸信号とは、深い相関関係があることを図17A及び図17Bで確認できる。
第2実施形態の挿耳型生体信号測定装置は、生体信号測定部1800をキャップ状に具現し、従来の携帯機器から音声を再生するイヤホン1830にかぶせて生体信号を測定するという点で、第1実施形態と差がある。したがって、基本的な生体測定部1800、制御部1850、及びディスプレイ部1890の構造は、前述した第1実施形態と実質的に同じであるので、以下では、第1実施形態と異なる構成についてだけ説明する。

Claims (20)
- 外面が耳穴の皮膚に密着されるように耳穴に挿し込まれ、前記外面を通じて前記耳穴の皮膚に相異なる波長を有する複数の光を照射し、前記耳穴の皮膚から伝えられた光を検出して生体情報が含まれているPPG信号を出力するPPG測定モジュールを含み、前記PPG信号を出力するための複数の電極を含む生体信号測定部と、
音声を出力するためのスピーカを備え、前記複数の電極と接合される複数の電極を外部に備えて前記生体信号測定部の出力信号を受信するイヤホンと、
前記イヤホンに備わった電極を通じて前記PPGモジュールで測定されたPPG信号を受信し、前記PPG信号を利用して所定の生体情報を生成するPPG信号処理部、及び前記イヤホンで音声信号を出力する音響処理部を含む制御部と、
前記制御部で計算された生体情報を表示する出力部と
を含むことを特徴とする生体信号測定装置。 - 前記PPG測定モジュールは、
前記耳穴の皮膚に光を照射する光源部と、
前記光源部により照射されて前記耳穴の皮膚から反射された光を検出する光検出部と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記光源部は、
前記耳穴の皮膚に第1波長を有する光を照射する第1光源部と、
前記耳穴の皮膚に第2波長を有する光を照射する第2光源部と
を含み、前記第1及び第2波長は、相異なる波長であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記PPG信号処理部は、
前記PPG信号のピークを検出するためのピーク検出部と、
前記ピーク値を利用して所定の生体情報を生成する信号処理部と
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記信号処理部は、
前記ピークの時間間隔を計算して脈拍を測定する脈拍検出部を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記信号処理部は、
前記ピーク値が検出されたPPG信号を帯域フィルタリングしてユーザの呼吸を測定する呼吸検出部を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記信号処理部は、
検出された相異なる波長のPPG信号のAC成分及びDC成分を検出して反射係数を測定する反射係数検出部と、
前記相異なる波長の反射係数の比によって血液内の酸素飽和度を検出する酸素飽和度検出部と
を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記PPG信号処理部は、
前記PPG信号を増幅する増幅部と、
前記増幅部から出力された信号のノイズ成分を除去して前記ピーク検出部に出力するフィルタ部と
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記生体信号測定部は、体内から放射された赤外線を感知し、感知された赤外線に対応する電気的信号を出力する体温測定モジュールをさらに含み、前記制御部は、前記体温測定モジュールから出力された電気的信号を利用してユーザの体温を計算する体温処理部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の生体信号測定装置。
- 前記体温測定モジュールは、
ユーザの鼓膜周辺に設置されて鼓膜から放射される赤外線を誘導する導波管と、
前記導波管によって誘導された赤外線を感知して電気的信号に変換する受光部と
を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記導波管は、
赤外線を反射できる材質で構成されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記体温処理部は、
前記体温測定モジュールから入力された電気的信号を増幅する増幅部と、
増幅された電気的信号のノイズを除去するフィルタ部と、
前記電気的信号をデジタル信号に変換するA/D変換部と
を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記出力部は、
液晶ディスプレイ装置であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記出力部は
移動通信端末機に含まれた液晶ディスプレイ装置であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記制御部で生成されたユーザの生体情報は、前記移動通信端末機を通じて所定の診療機関に無線伝送されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の生体信号測定装置。
- 前記出力部は、
CDプレーヤに含まれた液晶ディスプレイ装置であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記出力部は
液晶ディスプレイ装置であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の生体信号測定装置。 - 前記出力部は、
