Abstract
【解決手段】物理吸着作用を有する物理吸着剤4と、コバルトを含み触媒作用を有する触媒酸化物5と、前記物理吸着剤4および前記触媒酸化物5とを担持する担体3とから構成され、前記触媒酸化物5でアルデヒド類をカルボン酸へ転化後、前記物理吸着剤4で吸着除去するもので、部屋や車などの生活空間で発生する臭気を物理吸着剤4により吸着除去でき、特に有害なアルデヒド類を触媒酸化物5の触媒作用により常温でカルボン酸へ転化し、物理吸着剤4により吸着除去できる脱臭体を実現できる。

Description
図1(a)は、本発明の第1の実施の形態における脱臭体を示す外観模式図であり、(b)は脱臭体表面の拡大模式図である。
疎水性ゼオライトと、四三酸化コバルトCo3O4(以下、「コバルト触媒A」という)を水に分散させ、バインダとして固形分濃度20wt%のナトリウムフリーのコロイダルシリカ(以下、「バインダA」という)を加え、水と疎水性ゼオライトとコバルト触媒AとバインダAとの比が8:1:1:1のスラリー(以下、「スラリーA」という)を作製した。
疎水性ゼオライトとコバルト触媒Aを水に分散させ、バインダAを加え、水と疎水性ゼオライトとコバルト触媒AとバインダAとの比が8:1:1:1のスラリー(以下、「スラリーD」という)と、活性炭とコバルト触媒Aとを水に分散させ、バインダAを加え、水と活性炭とコバルト触媒AとバインダAとの比が8:1:1:1のスラリー(以下、「スラリーE」という)を作製した。
図2は、本発明の第2の実施の形態における脱臭装置の模式図である。なお、上記第1の実施の形態における脱臭体と同一部分については、同一符号を付してその説明を省略する。

Claims (9)
- 物理吸着作用を有する吸着剤と、コバルトを含み触媒作用を有する酸化物と、前記吸着剤および前記酸化物とを担持する担体とから構成され、前記酸化物でアルデヒド類をカルボン酸へ転化後、前記吸着剤で吸着除去することを特徴とした脱臭体。
- 吸着剤が疎水性ゼオライトからなる請求項1に記載の脱臭体。
- 担体を有機繊維から構成されるハニカム構造体とした請求項1又は2に記載の脱臭体。
- 酸化物を少なくとも吸着剤の表面に担持した請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の脱臭体。
- 吸着剤に吸着されたカルボン酸を通気により脱着するようにした請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の脱臭体。
- 酸化物をスピネル型構造とした請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の脱臭体。
- 酸化物中のナトリウムおよびカリウム成分の含有率を1wt%未満とした請求項1、4、又は6のいずれか1項に記載の脱臭体。
- アルデヒド類はアセトアルデヒドであり、カルボン酸は酢酸である請求項1に記載の脱臭体。
- 吸気口と、前記吸気口を通して少なくとも臭気を含む空気を吸気する吸気手段と、前記吸気手段により吸気した前記空気に含まれる臭気を脱臭する請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の脱臭体と、前記脱臭体により脱臭された前記空気を室内あるいは車内へ導入する導入口と、前記脱臭体から脱着した臭気を室外あるいは車外へ排気する排気口とを備えた脱臭装置。
