Abstract
【解決手段】 塗装ロボット1は、多関節手首部分5に取り付けられた静電塗装ユニット6を有し、静電塗装ユニット6には、そのエンドプレート45に電気的に導通状態で固定されたコネクタ50を介して高電圧発生器20に電源が供給される。コネクタ50には導線53が接続され、この導線53を通じて、静電塗装ユニット6の外表面に付着した塗料などの汚染物による高電圧リークが取り出され、これにより検出した高電圧リークが所定のしきい値よりも大きいときには、ベルヘッド18に印加する高電圧の値を降下させる制御が実行される。

Description
高電圧が供給される高電圧印加電極を先端部に備え、高電圧印加電極と被塗物との間に静電界を生成することにより塗料を帯電させながら被塗物に吸着させる静電塗装装置であって、
該静電塗装装置の前記高電圧印加電極から離れた端部に配設された導電性エンドプレートを有し、
前記静電塗装装置に供給すべき流体及び電源を前記エンドプレートに固定された連結手段を介して前記静電塗装装置に供給すると共に、前記エンドプレートを介して前記静電塗装装置の外表面の汚れによる高電圧リークを検出することを特徴とする静電塗装装置を提供することにより達成される。
高電圧が供給される高電圧印加電極を先端部に備え、高電圧印加電極と被塗物との間に静電界を生成することにより塗料を帯電させながら被塗物に吸着させる静電塗装ユニットを塗装ロボットのアームの先端に取り付けた静電塗装装置であって、
前記塗装ロボットのアームの内部に配設された配管及びケーブルを、前記静電塗装ユニットの導電性エンドプレートに固定された連結部材を介して前記静電塗装ユニットの内部通路及びケーブルに接続すると共に、前記導電性エンドプレートを介して前記静電塗装装置の外表面の汚れによる高電圧リークを検出することを特徴とする静電塗装装置を提供することにより達成される。

Claims (4)
- 高電圧が供給される高電圧印加電極を先端部に備え、高電圧印加電極と被塗物との間に静電界を生成することにより塗料を帯電させながら被塗物に吸着させる静電塗装装置であって、
該静電塗装装置の前記高電圧印加電極から離れた端部に配設された導電性エンドプレートを有し、
前記静電塗装装置に供給すべき流体及び電源を前記エンドプレートに固定された連結手段を介して前記静電塗装装置に供給すると共に、前記エンドプレートを介して前記静電塗装装置の外表面の汚れによる高電圧リークを検出することを特徴とする静電塗装装置。 - 高電圧が供給される高電圧印加電極を先端部に備え、高電圧印加電極と被塗物との間に静電界を生成することにより塗料を帯電させながら被塗物に吸着させる静電塗装ユニットを塗装ロボットのアームの先端に取り付けた静電塗装装置であって、
前記塗装ロボットのアームの内部に配設された配管及びケーブルを、前記静電塗装ユニットの導電性エンドプレートに固定された連結部材を介して前記静電塗装ユニットの内部通路及びケーブルに接続すると共に、前記導電性エンドプレートを介して前記静電塗装装置の外表面の汚れによる高電圧リークを検出することを特徴とする静電塗装装置。 - 請求項2に記載の静電塗装装置であって、
前記静電塗装装置の外表面の汚れによる高電圧リークが発生したときに、前記高電圧印加電極に供給する高電圧の値を低下させる高電圧降下制御手段を有することを特徴とする静電塗装装置。 - 請求項2に記載の静電塗装装置であって、
前記静電塗装ユニットが脱着可能な塗料カートリッジを備え、
該塗料カートリッジに駆動流体を供給することにより該塗料カートリッジ内の塗料を吐出させ、
前記静電塗装ユニットの内部通路を、前記導電性エンドプレートに固定された導電性継手を介して前記塗装ロボットのアームの内部に配設された配管に接続することにより、前記駆動流体が前記塗料カートリッジに供給され、
前記導電性継手が電気絶縁材料を介して前記導電性エンドプレートに固定され、
前記導電性継手には、前記静電塗装ユニットの内部通路を通じた高電圧リークを取り出すための導線が接続されていることを特徴とする静電塗装装置。
