Description
次に、図1~図4を参照して、本実施形態による塗装装置100の塗装時の動作例について説明する。
次に、図6および図7を参照して、電圧コントローラ51による電圧発生器5の出力電圧の制御例について説明する。なお、図6および図7の各ステップは電圧コントローラ51により実行される。
本実施形態では、上記のように、全電流I1とリーク電流I3とに基づいて放電電流I2を算出することによって、直接測定することが困難な放電電流I2を推定することができる。そして、その算出された放電電流I2に基づいて電圧発生器5を制御することにより、放電電流I2を適切に制御することができる。したがって、放電電流I2の変動要因が変化することに起因して放電電流I2が変動しても、電圧発生器5が制御されることにより、放電電流I2の変動が解消されるので、放電電流I2の安定化を図ることができる。
なお、今回開示した実施形態は、すべての点で例示であって、限定的な解釈の根拠となるものではない。したがって、本発明の技術的範囲は、上記した実施形態のみによって解釈されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲の記載に基づいて画定される。また、本発明の技術的範囲には、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれる。

Claims (2)
- 回転ヘッドと、
前記回転ヘッドを回転させる駆動部と、
前記回転ヘッドに塗料を供給する塗料供給管と、
前記回転ヘッドに電圧を印加する電源部と、
前記電源部を制御する制御部とを備える塗装装置であって、
前記回転ヘッドおよびワークを相対的に移動させる移動部を備え、
前記回転ヘッドは、塗料が遠心力によって外縁部に向けて拡散される拡散面と、前記外縁部に形成された複数の溝部とを含み、
前記回転ヘッドの溝部から糸状の塗料が放出され、その糸状の塗料が静電微粒化されるように構成され、
前記制御部は、前記電源部から前記回転ヘッドに流れる全電流と、前記回転ヘッドから前記塗料供給管を介してリークするリーク電流とに基づいて、前記回転ヘッドから接地されたワークに向けて放電される放電電流を算出し、前記放電電流に基づいて前記電源部を制御するように構成され、
前記移動部は、前記電源部の出力電圧の絶対値が所定値を下回った場合に、前記回転ヘッドおよび前記ワークの接近を禁止するように構成されていることを特徴とする塗装装置。 - 請求項1に記載の塗装装置において、
前記制御部は、前記放電電流が所定の目標値になるように前記電源部の出力電圧を制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする塗装装置。
