Claims (5)
- 圧縮エアを動力源とするエアモータと、
前記エアモータに回転自在に支持され、軸方向の先端が前記エアモータから前側に突出した中空な回転軸と、
塗料を供給するために前記回転軸内を通って前記回転軸の先端まで延びたフィードチューブと、
前記回転軸の先端に取付けられ、カップ状に拡開する外周面と前記フィードチューブから供給された塗料を拡散する内周面と先端に位置して塗料を放出する放出端縁とを有する回転霧化頭と、
前記回転霧化頭の外周を取囲むと共に、軸方向の先端が前記回転霧化頭の放出端縁よりも後方に配置されたシェーピングエアリングと、を備え、
前記シェーピングエアリングは、前記放出端縁の周囲に向けて第1のシェーピングエアを噴出する多数個の第1のシェーピングエア噴出孔と、前記各第1のシェーピングエア噴出孔よりも径方向の内側に位置して前記回転霧化頭を取囲んで配置され、前記回転霧化頭の外周面に沿わせて第2のシェーピングエアを噴出する多数個の第2のシェーピングエア噴出孔とを備えてなる回転霧化頭型塗装機において、
前記第1のシェーピングエア噴出孔の内径寸法(d1)は、前記第2のシェーピングエア噴出孔の内径寸法(d2)よりも大きな寸法に設定され、
前記第2のシェーピングエア噴出孔の個数(N2)は、前記第1のシェーピングエア噴出孔の個数(N1)よりも少ない個数に設定されていることを特徴とする回転霧化頭型塗装機。 - 前記第1のシェーピングエア噴出孔の内径寸法(d1)は、0.8mm≦d1≦1.2mmに設定され、前記第2のシェーピングエア噴出孔の内径寸法(d2)は、0.5mm≦d2≦0.8mmに設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記第2のシェーピングエア噴出孔の個数(N2)は、前記第1のシェーピングエア噴出孔の個数(N1)に対し、1/3N1≦N2≦1/2N1に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記第1のシェーピングエア噴出孔の傾斜角度(α1)は、前記回転軸の軸線(O−O)に対して40度≦α1≦55度に設定され、前記第2のシェーピングエア噴出孔の傾斜角度(α2)は、前記回転軸の軸線(O−O)に対して8度≦α2≦15度に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記回転霧化頭の前記外周面に対する前記第2のシェーピングエア噴出孔から噴出される第2のシェーピングエアの入射角(β)は、12度≦β≦13.4度に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
