Description
前記ベルカップとして、前記沿面の径方向内側に、前記ベルカップの回転中心に向かう凸形状曲面として第1塗料拡散部が形成され、且つ前記第1塗料拡散部と前記周縁部との間に、前記回転中心から離間する凹形状曲面として第2塗料拡散部が形成されるとともに、直径が75〜150mmであるものを用い、
前記ベルカップの回転数を8000〜30000rpmとする塗装方法が提供される。
前記ベルカップの前記沿面の径方向内側には、前記ベルカップの回転中心に向かう凸形状曲面として第1塗料拡散部が形成され、
且つ前記第1塗料拡散部と前記周縁部との間に、前記回転中心から離間する凹形状曲面として第2塗料拡散部が形成され、
前記ベルカップの直径が75〜150mmである回転霧化式塗装装置が提供される。
Claims (4)
- 回転するベルカップ(20)の沿面(38)の周縁部(46)から塗料をワーク(W)に向かって吹き付ける塗装方法において、
前記ベルカップ(20)として、前記沿面(38)に、塗料の吐出孔(30)から前記周縁部(46)に向かってテーパー状に拡径したテーパー部(40)と、前記ベルカップ(20)の回転中心に向かう凸形状曲面をなす第1塗料拡散部(42)と、前記第1塗料拡散部(42)と前記周縁部(46)との間の、前記回転中心から離間する凹形状曲面をなす第2塗料拡散部(44)とが連なるとともに、前記吐出孔(30)が、当該ベルカップ(20)と一体的に回転するハブ部材(26)の側面で開口して前記テーパー部(40)に対向しているものを用いることを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 請求項1記載の塗装方法において、前記ベルカップ(20)として直径(D)が80〜120mmであるものを用い、前記ベルカップ(20)の回転数を10000〜25000rpmとすることを特徴とする塗装方法。
- 回転するベルカップ(20)の沿面(38)の周縁部(46)から塗料をワーク(W)に向かって吹き付ける回転霧化式塗装装置(10)において、
前記ベルカップ(20)の前記沿面(38)には、塗料の吐出孔(30)から前記周縁部(46)に向かってテーパー状に拡径したテーパー部(40)と、前記ベルカップ(20)の回転中心に向かう凸形状曲面をなす第1塗料拡散部(42)と、前記第1塗料拡散部(42)と前記周縁部(46)との間の、前記回転中心から離間する凹形状曲面をなす第2塗料拡散部(44)とが連なり、
前記ベルカップ(20)に塗料を導出するハブ部材(26)に、前記吐出孔(30)が、同一形状及び同一寸法として複数個、周方向に沿って形成され、
前記吐出孔(30)が前記テーパー部(40)に対向していることを特徴とする回転霧化式塗装装置(10)。 - 請求項3記載の回転霧化式塗装装置(10)において、前記ベルカップ(20)の直径(D)が80〜120mmであることを特徴とする回転霧化式塗装装置(10)。
