Abstract
【解決手段】
本発明による蛍光性ガラスは、添加物としてBiを含有する石英系ガラスであり、波長980nm帯の励起光で励起され、蛍光を発生する。あるいは、本発明による蛍光性ガラスは、添加物として少なくとも1種類の遷移金属を含有し、980nm帯吸収スペクトルの半値全幅が10nmを超える。あるいは、本発明による蛍光性ガラスは、添加物として少なくとも1種類の遷移金属を含有する石英系ガラスであり、励起光強度が一定で且つ温度が−5℃以上65℃以下である場合において、蛍光スペクトルのピークにおける強度が−1dB以上1dB以下の範囲内で変動する。

Claims (9)
- 添加物としてBiを含有する石英系ガラスであり、波長980nm帯の励起光で励起され、蛍光を発生することを特徴とする蛍光性ガラス。
- 前記励起光の波長と前記蛍光のスペクトルのピーク波長との差が、前記励起光の波長に対して16%以内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蛍光性ガラス。
- 添加物として少なくとも1種類の遷移金属を含有し、980nm帯吸収スペクトルの半値全幅が10nmを超えることを特徴とする蛍光性ガラス。
- 前記半値全幅が50nmを超えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の蛍光性ガラス。
- 添加物として少なくとも1種類の遷移金属を含有する石英系ガラスであり、励起光強度が一定で且つ温度が−5℃以上65℃以下である場合において、蛍光スペクトルのピークにおける強度が−1dB以上1dB以下の範囲内で変動することを特徴とする蛍光性ガラス。
- コア領域の少なくとも一部が請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の蛍光性ガラスからなることを特徴とする光導波路。
- コア領域の少なくとも一部が請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の蛍光性ガラスからなることを特徴とする光ファイバ。
- 請求項6に記載の光導波路を有し、励起光が供給されることによって前記蛍光性ガラスから発生する蛍光を光増幅してASE光を出力する光源と、
前記光源から出力される前記ASE光を、第1光路方向に進行する第1分割光と反射体に向かって第2光路方向に進行する第2分割光とに2分割するビームスプリッタと、
前記第1分割光の光路上に配置され、前記第1光路方向に対して平行に移動されるとともに、前記第1光路方向に沿った方向に前記第1分割光を反射させるミラーと、
前記ミラーで反射された前記第1分割光と前記反射体で反射された前記第2分割光とを前記ビームスプリッタで重ね合わせ干渉させることによって得られる干渉光を検出する光検出器と、を備え、
前記反射体の3次元断層画像を、深度方向について4μm以下の分解能で測定することを特徴とする光コヒーレンストモグラフィ装置。 - 請求項7に記載の光ファイバと、
前記光ファイバに含有される前記添加物を励起する励起光を前記光ファイバに供給する励起光供給部と、を備え、
前記光ファイバは、前記添加物から放出される光を共振させる共振器の光路中にレーザ媒質として配置されていることを特徴とする光ファイバレーザ。
