Claims (22)
- 内側層と、
外側層と、
内側層と外側層との間に配置されたリグラインド層とを備え、
リグラインド層および外側層と内側層のうちの少なくとも1つが、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含む、多層材料。 - 外側層が、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含む、請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 内側層および外側層が、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含む、請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 内側層が、エチレンポリプロピレンコポリマーを備える、請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 外側層が、エチレンポリプロピレンコポリマーを備える、請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 内側層および外側層が、同一のエチレンポリプロピレンコポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 酸素遮蔽層、第1の接着層、および第2の接着層をさらに備え、第1の接着層が、酸素遮蔽層をリグラインド層の外部表面に接合するように構成され、第2の接着層が、酸素遮蔽層を外側層の内部表面に接合するように構成される、請求項1に記載の多層材料。
- 酸素遮蔽層が、エチレンビニルアルコールを備える材料から構成される、請求項7に記載の多層材料。
- 内側層と、
内部表面を有する外側層と、
前記内側層と前記外側層との間に配置され、外部表面を有するリグラインド層と、

前記第1の接着層と前記第2の接着層との間に配置された酸素遮蔽層とを備え、前記第1および第2の接着層が、前記酸素遮蔽層を前記リグラインド層および前記外側層にそれぞれ接合するように構成され、
前記外側層が、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含み、
前記リグラインド層が、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含む、
光感受性製品のための容器。 - 内側層が、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含む、請求項9に記載の容器。
- 二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄が、レトルト容器を形成するために、共通の溶融可能な樹脂ペレットで共に提供され、押出しブロー成形される、請求項9に記載の容器。
- 内側層および外側層が、同一のエチレンポリプロピレンコポリマーを含む、請求項9に記載の多層材料。
- 側壁、底壁、および開いた上部を画定する多層材料を備え、
多層材料が、内側層、外側層、および内側層と外側層との間に配置されたリグラインド層を備え、リグラインド層および外側層と内側層のうちの少なくとも1つが、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含み、
側壁が、凸状のドーム形状を有し、キャップによって密封されるように構成された終端部の上端部を終端とする上側部分と、底壁と接合された下側部分と、上側部分と下側部分との間に配置された中間部分とを備え、
側壁の中間部分が、円弧状の環状の把持溝を画定し、
下側部分が、上端部および下端部で実質的に円筒形であり、パネル構造体を実質的に円筒形の上端部と下端部との間に含み、該パネル構造体は、それぞれ円弧状の横方向断面を有する対応する複数の長手方向のビーム部材によって分離された、複数の鉛直方向に細長い矩形のくぼみを備える、レトルト処理可能なプラスチックビン。 - 矩形のくぼみそれぞれが、鉛直方向に細長いほぼ矩形の底面、反対側の内向きに傾斜した側壁、および反対側の内向きに傾斜した端壁を有する、中央に配置された隆起した島部を含む、請求項13に記載の容器。
- 把持溝が、約0.3インチ〜0.5インチ(7.62mm〜12.70mm)の半径を有する、請求項13に記載の容器。
- 把持溝が、約0.328インチ(8.33mm)の半径を有する、請求項15に記載の容器。
- 低酸性の液体栄養製品を包装する方法であって、
容器を形成するステップを含み、前記容器が、
側壁、底壁、および開いた上部を備え、
側壁が、凸状のドーム形状を有し、かつキャップによって密封されるように構成された終端部の上端部を終端とする上側部分と、底壁と接合された下側部分と、上側部分と下側部分との間に配置された中間部分とを含み、
側壁の中間部分が、円弧状の環状の把持溝を画定し、
側壁の下側部分が、上端部および下端部で実質的に円筒形であり、実質的に円筒形の上端部と下端部との間にパネル構造体を含み、該パネル構造体が、対応する複数の長手方向のビーム部材によって分離された複数の鉛直方向に細長い矩形のくぼみを備え、前記低酸性の液体栄養製品を包装する方法がさらに、
容器の終端部と密封して対合するように構成されたキャップを提供するステップと、
容器およびキャップを滅菌するステップと、
低酸性の液体栄養製品で容器を充填するステップと、
充填された容器の開いた上部をキャップで密封するステップと、
レトルトプロセスで密封された容器を熱滅菌するステップとを含む、低酸性の液体栄養製品を包装する方法。 - 容器を形成するステップが、側壁、底壁、および開いた上部を画定する多層材料を共押出しブロー成形することを含み、多層材料が、内側層、外側層、および内側層と外側層との間に配置されたリグラインド層とを備え、リグラインド層および外側層と内側層のうちの少なくとも1つが、二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄を含む、請求項17に記載の低酸性の液体栄養製品を包装する方法。
- レトルトプロセスが、少なくとも120℃の温度で行われる、請求項17に記載の低酸性の液体栄養製品を包装する方法。
- レトルトプロセスが、約126.1℃〜127.2℃の温度で行われる、請求項18に記載の低酸性の液体栄養製品を包装する方法。
- 光感受性の液体栄養製品を保護する方法であって、
それぞれ二酸化チタンおよび酸化鉄の両方を含む複数の溶融可能なカラーペレットを、ベース材料と混合するステップと、
カラーペレットおよびベース材料を加熱するステップと、
光感受性の液体栄養製品を保持するように構成された容器の層を形成するために、加熱および混合されたカラーペレットおよびベース材料を成形するステップとを含む、光感受性の液体栄養製品を保護する方法。 - 成形ステップが、押出しブロー成形によって達成され、形成された層が、容器の外側層である、請求項21に記載の光感受性の液体栄養製品を保護する方法。
