Claims (1)

  1. ディスプレイ基材の上に1つ以上のアドレス可能な第1の電極層を有するディスプレイ基材を提供する工程と、
    1つ以上の有機エレクトロルミネセンス層を、前記基材上の前記1つ以上の第1の電極の少なくとも一部の上に形成し、それにより、1つ以上の有機エレクトロルミネセンススタックを画定する工程であって、各スタックが、前記1つ以上の第1の電極層のうちの1つの一部の上の前記1つ以上の有機エレクトロルミネセンス層のうちの1つの一部を含む工程と、
    複数の絶縁体を、熱転写ドナーシートから前記1つ以上の有機エレクトロルミネセンス層上に選択的に熱転写し、前記1つ以上の有機エレクトロルミネセンススタックの少なくとも2つの部分を露出したままにする工程と、
    前記複数の絶縁体を転写する工程の後、第2の電極を堆積させ、それにより、1つ以上の前記絶縁体によって分離された少なくとも2つの有機エレクトロルミネセンスデバイスを形成する工程とを含む、有機エレクトロルミネセンスデバイスを形成するための方法。
