Abstract
貼り合わせる基板の大型化に伴い、製品の精度を維持するためには貼り合せ装置も大型になり、操作も複雑になるという問題がある。
【解決手段】
架台の4角に上フレームを上下に動かすためのZ軸駆動機構を設け、上フレームの下に内部に上テーブルを備えた上チャンバが吊り下げられ、前記架台側に内部に複数の支持脚を介して支持された下テーブルを備えた下チャンバが設けられ、前記上チャンバと前記下チャンバとはりシールリングを通して合体されて真空チャンバ構成し、前記上テーブルは前記上フレームと連結され上フレームを介して前記Z軸駆動機構により動かされ、前記上フレームを動かすことによって上チャンバが上下動し真空チャンバの開閉を行う構成とし、前記下テーブルは前記複数の支持脚とテーブル間にフリージョイントステージを介して支持され、前記真空チャンバの外側に設けた横押し機構にて水平方向に稼動できる構成とした。

Claims (4)
- 貼り合せるべき基板同士をそれぞれ上下に保持して対向させ、下基板のパネル形成部に所定量の液晶を滴下し、位置決めを行うと共に間隔を狭めて、少なくともいずれか一方の基板に設けた接着剤により減圧状態のチャンバ内で両基板を貼り合せる基板組立装置において、
前記チャンバを上下2分割構造とし、上チャンバ内に一方の基板を脱着自在に固着させる上テーブルと、下チャンバ内に他方の基板を脱着自在に固着させる下側テーブルをそれぞれの基板が対向するように備え、前記上テーブル及び上チャンバを上下に移動させるZ軸駆動機構を架台側に備え、前記下側テーブルは複数の下シャフトに設けたフリージョイントステージ上に載置され、前記下シャフトと下チャンバ間を遮蔽部材で接続して真空漏れを防止し、前記下側テーブルを水平方向に移動して位置決めを行う横押し機構を下チャンバの外に少なくとも3箇所以上設けたことを特徴とする基板組立装置。 - 架台の4角に上フレームを上下に動かすためのZ軸駆動機構を設け、上フレームの下に内部に上テーブルを備えた上チャンバが吊り下げられ、前記架台側に内部に複数の支持脚を介して支持された下テーブルを備えた下チャンバが設けられ、前記上チャンバと前記下チャンバとはシールリングを通して合体されて真空チャンバ構成し、前記上テーブルは前記上フレームと連結され上フレームを介して前記Z軸駆動機構により上下に移動し、前記上フレームを動かすことによって上チャンバが上下動しチャンバの開閉を行う構成とし、前記下テーブルは前記複数の支持脚とテーブル間にフリージョイントステージを介して支持され、前記真空チャンバの外側に設けた横押し機構にて水平方向に稼動できる構成としたことを特徴とする基板組立装置。
- 請求項2に記載の基板組立装置において、
上フレームを上下動させる際のガイド機構を装置の4角に設け,それぞれのガイド機構は二つのリニアガイドを一方の案内面に対して他方の案内面が垂直となるように組み合せた構成としたことを特徴とする基板組立装置。 - 請求項2および3に記載の基板組立装置において、
可撓性のシート状電極と弾性体によるシートを重ねた積層構造とした静電チャックによりガラス基板の保持を行うことを特徴とする基板組立装置。
