Abstract
多列の内燃機関のため、特にV字配列のエンジンのために、構造がコンパクトで安価に製造可能である切替え可能な吸気装置を開発する。
【解決手段】
少なくとも1の短い吸入管と長い吸入管(28〜34)を有し、これら吸入管の横断面が、少なくとも1つの調整機構(56,58)を介して運転パラメータに、特に内燃機関の回転数に依存して制御可能である、多気筒の内燃機関のための切替え可能な吸気装置において、内燃機関の第1のシリンダバンク列(2)のための短い吸入管(28,30)と第2のシリンダバンク列(4)のための長い吸入管(32,34)が、共通の調整機構(56,58)を介して制御可能であることによる。

Claims (6)
- 少なくとも1の短い吸入管と長い吸入管(28〜34)を有し、これら吸入管の横断面が、少なくとも1つの調整機構(56,58)を介して運転パラメータに、特に内燃機関の回転数に依存して制御可能である、多気筒の内燃機関のための切替え可能な吸気装置において、
内燃機関の第1のシリンダバンク列(2)のための短い吸入管(28,30)と第2のシリンダバンク列(4)のための長い吸入管(32,34)が、共通の調整機構(56,58)を介して制御可能であることを特徴とする切替え可能な吸気装置。 - 共通の調整機構が、ロータリバルブ(56,58)として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の切替え可能な吸気装置。
- 第1のシリンダバンク列(2)に付設された短い吸入管(28)と第2のシリンダバンク列(4)に付設された長い吸入管(34)がそれぞれ交差し、その際、交差領域に共通のロータリバルブ(56,58)が配設されており、ロータリバルブ(56,58)の位置に応じて、両シリンダバンク列(2,4)の短い吸入管(28,30)が開放しているのに対して両シリンダバンク列(2,4)の長い吸入管(32,34)が閉鎖しているか、もしくはその逆となることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の切替え可能な吸気装置。
- 吸気装置が、モジュール(26)として形成されており、このモジュールのシリンダヘッド(14,16)へのフランジ領域(40,42)に、シリンダへの給気を制御するためのスロットルバルブ(44,46)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の切替え可能な吸気装置。
- 一方のシリンダバンク列(2,4)のスロットルバルブ(44,46)が、1つの軸に支承されており、これにより共同で操作可能であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の切替え可能な吸気装置。
- 吸気モジュール(26)のシリンダヘッド(14,16)へのフランジ領域(40,42)に、インジェクションバルブ(48,50)を収容するための開口部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の切替え可能な吸気装置。
