Abstract
【解決手段】第1の面(14)、第2の面(16)、印(20)を有する第1のトラック(18)及び印(24)を有する第2のトラック(2)を備えたコードストリップ(12)含む光学エンコーダ(10)。コードストリップ(12)は、移動経路(26)に沿って、光学エンコーダ(10)に対して相対的に移動させることができる。コードストリップ(12)の第1の面(14)に配置された光源(30)が、コードストリップ(12)に光を当てる。第1の検出素子(52)はコードストリップ(12)の第2の面(16)に配置され、コードストリップ(12)の第1のトラック(18)に対してほぼ位置合わせされる。第2の検出素子(54)はコードストリップ(12)の第2の面(16)に配置され、コードストリップの第2のトラック(22)に対してほぼ位置合わせされる。第1の検出素子(52)から移動経路(26)の方向にある間隔を空けて、第2の検出素子(54)が更に配置される。

Claims (10)
- 第1の面(14)、第2の面(16)、印(20)の付いた第1のトラック(18)、及び印(24)の付いた第2のトラック(22)を有し、移動経路(26)に沿って、光学エンコーダ(10)に対して相対的に移動させることが可能なコードストリップ(12)と、
前記コードストリップ(12)の第1の面(14)に配置され、前記コードストリップ(12)に光を当てる光源(30)と、
前記コードストリップ(12)の第2の面(16)に配置され、前記コードストリップ(12)の第1のトラック(18)に対して実質的に位置合わせされ、前記コードストリップ(12)の第1のトラック(18)を構成する前記印(20)を検出する第1の検出素子(52)と、
前記コードストリップ(12)の第2の面(16)に配置され、前記コードストリップ(12)の第2のトラック(22)に対して実質的に位置合わせされ、前記第1の検出素子(52)から前記移動経路(26)の方向に或る離間距離(60)を空けて配置され、前記コードストリップ(12)の第2のトラック(22)を構成する前記印(24)を検出する第2の検出素子(54)と
からなる光学エンコーダ。 - 前記第1の検出素子(52)及び前記第2の検出素子(54)と、前記コードストリップ(12)との間に配置され、前記第1の検出素子(52)に対して実質的に位置合わせされた第1の開口(64)と、前記第2の検出素子(54)に対して実質的に位置合わせされた第2の開口(66)とを画定する開口プレート(62)を更に含む、請求項1に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 前記光源(30)は、前記第1の検出素子(52)に対して実質的に位置合わせされた第1の発光素子(38)と、前記第2の検出素子(54)に対して実質的に位置合わせされた第2の発光素子(40)とを含む、請求項1に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 前記第1の発光素子(38)に隣接配置された第1のコリメートレンズ(42)と、前記第2の発光素子(40)に隣接配置された第2のコリメートレンズ(44)とを更に含む、請求項3に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 前記第2のトラック(22)を構成する前記印(24)は、前記移動経路(26)上の前記第1のトラック(18)を構成する前記印(20)に対して、前記移動経路(26)上の前記第2の検出素子(54)と前記第1の検出素子(52)の間の離間距離(60)にほぼ等しい距離だけずらしてある、請求項1に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 前記第1のトラック(18)を構成する前記印(20)は、複数の実質的に透明な部分及び複数の実質的に不透明な部分からなり、前記第2のトラック(22)を構成する前記印(24)は、複数の実質的に透明な部分及び複数の実質的に不透明な部分からなる、請求項1に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 前記光源(30)並びに前記第1の検出素子(52)及び前記第2の検出素子(54)を実質的に平行に、且つ互いに間隔を空けた関係で収容するように構成されたハウジング(34)を更に含み、該ハウジング(34)に軸受面(76)が画定され、前記コードストリップ(12)が前記光源(30)と前記第1の検出素子(52)及び前記第2の検出素子(54)との間に画定された空間(36)内に配置されたとき、前記軸受面(76)は前記コードストリップ(12)に対して摺動可能に係合し、前記コードストリップ(12)が前記移動経路(26)に沿って移動する際に、前記光源(30)と、前記第1の検出素子(52)及び前記第2の検出素子(54)との間に画定された前記空間(36)内における前記コードストリップ(12)の間隔を空けた位置が維持される、請求項1に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 前記軸受面(76)は、前記ハウジング(34)の第1の端部の付近に配置され、前記コードストリップ(12)の第1の縁部(78)に摺動可能に係合する第1の軸受面と、前記ハウジング(34)の第2の端部の付近に配置され、前記コードストリップ(12)の第2の縁部(80)に摺動可能に係合する第2の軸受面とを含む、請求項7に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 前記第1の軸受面及び前記第2の軸受面は、半円筒形の表面からなる、請求項8に記載の光学エンコーダ。
- 光学エンコーダ(10)に対するコードストリップ(12)の位置を判定するための光学エンコーダ(10)であって、実質的に透明な領域と実質的に不透明な領域が、前記コードストリップに交互に配置され、
光源(30)と、
前記光源(30)から間隔を空けた位置に配置され、前記光源(30)との間に空間(36)を画定する検出器(32)であって、前記空間(36)は、前記コードストリップ(12)を収容し、該コードストリップ(12)を移動経路(26)に沿って該光学エンコーダ(10)に対して相対的に移動させることが可能なサイズであり、該検出器の幅は、前記コードストリップ(12)上の実質的に透明な領域の幅よりも広い幅である、検出器(32)と、
前記コードストリップ(12)上の前記実質的に透明な領域の幅と実質的に等しい幅の開口(64)が画定された開口プレート(62)であって、前記検出器(32)に隣接配置され、前記コードストリップ(12)が前記光源(30)と前記検出器(32)の間に画定された前記空間(36)に収容されたときに、前記検出器(32)と前記コードストリップ(12)に挟まれるように構成される開口プレート(62)と
