Abstract
【解決手段】コントロールユニットは、STEP1でIGスイッチのOFF操作があったときに、STEP3で燃料電池の温度(FC内部温度)が発電に伴う生成水が凍結する温度よりも高い所定温度よりも低いか否かを判断する。そして、FC内部温度が該所定温度以上であったときには、STEP4に進んでFC内部温度が上昇するように発電条件を調整し、STEP5で報知手段を作動させて、STEP7でFC内部温度が該所定温度以上となるまで発電を継続した後にSTEP8で発電を停止する。

Description
ここで、氷点下環境で燃料電池セル100を起動するときに、前回の発電時に上記式(1)で生成された水が燃料電池セル100内に残存していると、該残存した水が酸素電極103で凍結して、高分子電解質膜101における水素イオンH+の伝導率が低下し、燃料電池セル100の発電能力が低下するという不都合がある。
Claims (4)
- 固体高分子型の燃料電池セルを複数個接続して構成された燃料電池の運転方法であって、
燃料電池の発電動作中に所定の発電停止条件が成立したときに、燃料電池の温度が発電に伴う生成水の凍結温度を超える値に設定された所定温度よりも低いか否かを判断する第1の工程と、
燃料電池の温度が前記所定温度よりも低いときに、燃料電池の温度が前記所定温度以上となるまで燃料電池の発電動作を継続させた後に、燃料電池の発電を停止する第2の工程からなることを特徴とする燃料電池の運転方法。 - 前記第2の工程において、燃料電池の発電動作を継続させている間、報知手段による報知を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池の運転方法。
- 固体高分子型の燃料電池セルを複数個接続して構成された燃料電池と、該燃料電池の作動を制御する発電制御手段と、該燃料電池の温度を把握する燃料電池温度把握手段とを備えた燃料電池システムにおいて、
前記発電制御手段は、燃料電池の発電動作中に所定の発電停止条件が成立したときに、燃料電池の温度が燃料電池の発電に伴う生成水の凍結温度を超える値に設定された所定温度よりも低いか否かを判断し、燃料電池の温度が該所定温度よりも低いときには、燃料電池の温度が該所定温度以上となるまで燃料電池の発電動作を継続させた後に、燃料電池の発電を停止することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 前記発電制御手段により、燃料電池の内部温度が前記所定温度以上となるまで燃料電池の発電動作が継続されている間、報知を行う報知手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項3記載の燃料電池システム。
