Claims (6)
- 内燃機関の排気ガス再循環率(EGR)を算出する装置であって、センサユニット(12)を有し、該センサユニットは、第1領域では排気ガス再循環ライン(16、17b)の排気ガス雰囲気によって反応を引き起こすことが可能であり、第2領域では前記排気ガス再循環ライン(16)が開口する位置(17c)の下流の、前記内燃機関の吸気ライン(14)内の排気ガス/吸入空気雰囲気によって反応を引き起こすことが可能である装置において、
前記センサユニット(12)は管状であり、前記センサユニット(12)の内側面(12b)は前記排気ガス雰囲気によって反応し、前記センサユニット(12)の外側面(12a)は前記排気ガス/吸入空気雰囲気によって反応し、あるいは逆も同様であることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記センサユニットは、薄膜又は厚膜技術を使用して前記内側面及び/又は前記外側面上に生成された電極を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記吸気ライン(14)内、特に吸気マニホールド内、のほぼ中央に配置された前記センサユニット(12)を特徴とする、請求項1あるいは2に記載の装置。
- 前記外側面上に形成された前記センサユニットのセンサ感知領域は、前記センサ感知領域に反応する前記雰囲気の少なくとも1つの流れの方向において、前記内側面上に形成されたセンサ感知領域より広い範囲を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記センサユニット(12)は、一酸化窒素選択性膜で前記内側面及び/又前記外側面を被膜されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記排気ガス再循環ライン(17b)が前記吸気ライン(14)内に開口する位置(17c)の領域に設けられたバッフルプレート(18)を特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
