Claims (20)
- 主血管と側枝血管との交差部によって規定される分岐部付近で発生する、血管の異常状態を処置する際に使用される分節された風船付きカテーテルにおいて、
近位端と遠位端と長手方向通路とを含む軸であって、前記長手方向通路が前記近位端から前記遠位端にわたって延びる、軸と、
前記遠位端に隣接する前記軸上に設置される第1風船部と、
前記第1風船部に隣接する前記軸上に設置される第2風船部とを含み、
前記軸が横向きポートを備え、当該横向きポートは、前記長手方向通路と前記分節された風船付きカテーテル外面との間に対して、前記第1風船部と前記第2風船部との間から延び、
前記主血管内に予め配置された第1案内ワイヤの近位端を、前記軸の前記遠位端に挿入し、前記長手方向通路の中を介して通し、前記軸の前記近位端から出し、
前記側枝血管内に予め配置された第2案内ワイヤの近位端を、前記横向きポートに挿入し、前記長手方向通路の中を介して通し、前記軸の前記近位端から出し、
それにより、前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部を、前記第1及び前記第2案内ワイヤ上で前記分岐部に案内する、分節された風船付きカテーテル。 - 前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部が単一の風船頭部を含む、請求項1に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記風船頭部が、近位端と、遠位端と、前記第1風船部と前記第2風船部との間に位置する中間点とを含む、請求項2に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記風船頭部の前記近位端及び前記遠位端が、それぞれ前記軸に固定かつ封止される、請求項3に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記風船頭部の前記中間点が、前記軸に固定かつ封止される、請求項4に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記風船頭部が、前記軸の前記横向きポートと位置合わせされている穴を含む、請求項2に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記軸が、第1遠位端を有する内管と、第2遠位端を有する外管とを含む、請求項1に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記第1及び前記第2遠位端が、互いに固定かつ封止されて、前記内管と前記外管との間に膨張通路を形成する、請求項7に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記外管が、前記膨張通路と前記第1風船部との間を延びる第1膨張穴と、前記膨張通路と前記第2風船部との間を延びる第2膨張穴とを含む、請求項8に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部が、近位端と、遠位端と、前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部の間に位置する中間点とを有する単一の風船頭部を含み、
前記風船頭部の前記遠位端が、前記内管の前記第1遠位端に固定かつ封止され、
前記風船頭部の前記近位端が、前記外管の前記第2遠位端に固定かつ封止される、請求項7に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。 - 膨張通路が前記内管と前記外管との間に画成される、請求項10に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記中間点が前記内管の外径よりも大きい内径を有する、請求項11に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部に取り付けられるステントをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記ステントが、前記軸の前記横向きポートと位置合わせされる窓部を含む、請求項13に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 前記ステントが薬剤被覆型又は薬剤溶出型ステントである、請求項14に記載の分節された風船付きカテーテル。
- 主血管と側枝血管との交差部によって規定される分岐部付近で発生する、血管の異常状態を処置する方法であって、
第1案内ワイヤを前記主血管内に、第2案内ワイヤを前記側枝血管内に挿入するステップと、
遠位端と、近位端と、前記遠位端及び前記近位端の中を通って前記遠位端から前記近位端に延びる長手方向通路と、第1風船部と、第2風船部と、前記長手方向通路と前記風船付きカテーテル外面との間で前記第1風船部と前記第2風船部との間から延びる横向きポートとを有する第1風船付きカテーテルを提供するステップと、
前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部を覆う拡張式の第1ステントを取り付けるステップと、
前記第1案内ワイヤの近位端を、前記第1風船付きカテーテルの前記遠位端に通し、前記第1風船付きカテーテルの前記近位端から出すステップと、
前記第2案内ワイヤの近位端を、前記第1ステントを介して通し、前記横向きポートに入れ、前記第1風船付きカテーテルの前記近位端から出すステップと、
前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部を、前記分岐部に隣接する前記主血管内に前進させるステップと、
前記第1風船部及び前記第2風船部を膨張させ、それにより前記第1ステントを前記分岐部に隣接する前記主血管内に移植するステップとを含む方法。 - 第2風船付きカテーテルを提供するステップであって、前記第2風船付きカテーテル中を延びる長手方向通路と風船部とを有する、第2風船付きカテーテルを提供するステップと、
拡張式の第2ステントを前記第2風船付きカテーテルの前記風船部を覆って取り付けるステップと、
前記第2案内ワイヤの前記近位端を、前記第2風船付きカテーテルの前記長手方向通路に通すステップと、
前記第2風船付きカテーテルの前記風船部を、前記第1ステントを通して、前記分岐部に隣接する前記第2側枝血管内に前進させるステップと、
前記第2風船付きカテーテルの前記風船部を膨張させ、それにより前記第2ステントを前記分岐部に隣接する前記側枝血管内に移植するステップとをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 第3風船付きカテーテルを提供するステップであって、前記第3風船付きカテーテル中を延びる長手方向通路と風船部とを有する、第3風船付きカテーテルを提供するステップと、
前記第2案内ワイヤの前記近位端を、前記第3風船付きカテーテルの前記長手方向通路に通すステップと、
前記第3風船付きカテーテルの前記風船部を、前記第1ステント内の窓部を通って前記第2側枝血管内に、少なくとも部分的に前進させるステップと、
前記第3風船付きカテーテルの前記風船部を膨張させ、それにより前記窓部を前記側枝血管に位置合わせするステップとを含む予備的ステップさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記第1ステント上に治療用物質を提供するステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
