Claims (11)
- ポリマー型電解質膜構造の複数の燃料電池セル(2)を配設して1つの燃料電池スタック(1)を形成し、該スタック内に、冷却用流体用の複数のダクト(8)が、冷却用流体が並列に流入するように、隣接している膜−電極−ユニット(4,5,6)の間に本質的に互いに並列に配置されており、さらに、前記ダクトの両側は開放されている燃料電池スタックであって、同じ燃料電池セル(2)の隣接した複数のダクト(8)の貫流方向が互いに反対であることである燃料電池スタック。
- 1つの燃料電池スタック(1)を形成すべく配置された複数の燃料電池セル(2)において、重なり合っている前記ダクト(8)の流入側・流出側が、スタック軸(9)に対して並列に位置している共同の集積ダクト(11)に配管接続されている請求項1記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 複数の集積ダクト(11)が前記スタック(1)の両側にて互いに並列に配置され、かつ、全ての冷却用流体用ダクト(8)が流入側あるいは流出側で、一つの集積ダクト(11)に合流するように配置されている請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記複数の冷却用流体用ダクトが冷却専用に使用され、ガスないし液体を冷却用に貫流させている請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 複数の冷却用ダクト(8)が、同時に燃料電池セル(2)の酸素供給に使用され、かつ、それぞれの膜−電極−ユニット(4,5,6)の陰極(6)方向に開放されて形成されている請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 複数の冷却用ダクトが、燃料電池セルの燃料供給に使用され、かつ、それぞれの膜−電極−ユニット(4,5,6)の陽極方向に開放されて形成されている請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 複数の冷却用ダクト(8)の内法幅は3mm未満、好ましくは、約2mmである請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 複数の冷却用ダクト(8)の長さは20mm〜200mmである請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
- スタック(1)の側部に、複数の集積ダクト(11)を形成する複数の凹部分が設置されている請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 隣接する燃料電池セル(2)の側部に、バイポーラープレートを囲む弾力性を有するパッキング縁部分が設置され、かつ、重なり合っているパツキング縁部分に存在す凹部分によって、複数の集積ダクト(11)が形成されている請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 冷却用媒体が0.1hPa(0.1mbar)〜10hPa(10mbar)までの正圧ないし同程度の負圧にて貫流させられている請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項記載の燃料電池スタック。
