Abstract
Description

55重量%〜99.9重量%のアルキルアクリレートエステルモノマー(エステルアルキル基に1〜24個の炭素原子を含む)、ここで、少なくとも50mol%のエステルは、そのエステルアルキル基に、少なくとも6個の炭素原子、より好ましくは少なくとも8個の炭素原子を含む;

以下を含有する調合物を調製する:100重量部の100℃で3.7〜3.8cStの粘度を有するAPI III群ベースストック;ポリエチレンアミンと反応したポリイソブテニルコハク酸無水物に基づいて2.55部のホウ酸化スクシニミド分散剤(1.9% B、67% 活性化学物質および33% 希釈油を含む);ホルムアルデヒド結合ポリプロピレン置換スルホン酸に基づいて0.2部の過塩基スルホン酸カルシウム界面活性剤、300の全塩基価(Total Base Number)(TBN)、58% 活性化学物質および42% 希釈油;0.2部の過塩基スルホン酸アルキルマグネシウム界面活性剤、400 TBN、58% 活性化学物質および42% 希釈油;ならびに0.16部の85% リン酸。過塩基界面活性剤は、市販の炭酸材料であり、これには、少量の分散剤および他の従来の成分が含まれ得る。さらに、この調合物は、0.05部のリン酸水素ジブチル、0.03部の市販の消泡剤、0.05部のさらなる希釈油および10部の分散剤粘性改変剤(アミン官能基を有するメタクリレートコポリマー(74% ポリマー、26%希釈油)に基づいて)を含む。
調合物を実施例1のように調製する。但し、マグネシウム界面活性剤を、0.19部の同じくホウ酸化したスルホン酸マグネシウム界面活性剤、3.8% B、295 TBN、61% 活性化学物質、39% 希釈油で置き換え;そして85% リン酸の量を0.05部まで減らす。
調合物を実施例1のように調製する。但し、マグネシウム界面活性剤を、50%希釈油を含む0.23部の過塩基マグネシウムアルキル置換石炭酸塩、TBN 69で置き換え、カルシウム界面活性剤を、40%希釈油を含む0.19部の過塩基アルキル置換サリチル酸カルシウム、TBN 165で置き換える。この調合物は、高い動力学的金属−金属摩擦係数を示す。
実施例1の調合物に、今度は、0.5重量部(活性化学物質ベース)の以下の物質の各々を加える:
(4) 分枝アルキル置換フェノールとホルムアルデヒドとジエタノールアミンとのMannich縮合生成物
(5) ホルムアルデヒド結合直鎖アルキル置換フェノール
(6) 直鎖アルキル置換無水コハク酸とジエタノールアミンとの縮合生成物
(7) ポリイソブテン置換無水コハク酸
(8) トリフェニルチオホスフェート
(9) 亜リン酸ジ(長鎖アルキル)
(10) N−フェニルα−ナフチルアミン
(11) 硫化植物油、必要に応じて硫化オレフィンもまた含む。
調合物を実施例1のように調製する。但し、今度は、マグネシウム界面活性剤および/またはカルシウム界面活性剤を、それぞれ、対応する量の以下のマグネシウムおよび/またはカルシウム界面活性剤で置き換える:
(12) 過塩基カルシウムアルキルフェネート、硫化物
(13) 過塩基スルホン酸カルシウム、ホウ酸化物
(14) 過塩基マグネシウムアルキルフェネート
(15) 過塩基マグネシウムアルキルフェネートならびにアルキルフェノールとグリオキシル酸の反応性生物の過塩基カルシウム塩。
Claims (15)
- トランスミッションのための潤滑剤として使用するために適切な組成物であって、該組成物は、以下:
(a)潤滑粘性の油;
(b)分散剤;
(c)カルシウム界面活性剤;
(d)マグネシウム界面活性剤;および
(e)無機リン化合物;
を含有し、
ここで(b)、(c)および(d)のうち少なくとも1つは、ホウ酸化されている、組成物。 - 前記分散剤がホウ酸化スクシンイミド分散剤である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記分散剤が、約0.5〜約6重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記分散剤が前記組成物に対して、重量に基づいて約50〜約3000百万分率のホウ素で寄与する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記カルシウム界面活性剤が、過塩基ヒドロカルビルベンゼンスルホン酸カルシウムまたは過塩基ヒドロカルビルサリチル酸カルシウムである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記カルシウム界面活性剤の量が、約0.025重量%〜約6重量%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記マグネシウム界面活性剤が、過塩基ヒドロカルビルベンゼンスルホン酸マグネシウムまたは過塩基マグネシウムヒドロカルビルフェネートである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記マグネシウム界面活性剤の量が、約0.025重量%〜約6重量%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記カルシウム界面活性剤および前記マグネシウム界面活性剤のうち少なくとも1つがホウ酸化されている、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 重量に基づいて、約130〜約3300百万分率のホウ素を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記無機リン化合物がリン酸または亜リン酸である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記無機リン化合物の量が、約0.005重量%〜約0.3重量%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- (f)約0.01重量%〜約6重量%の有機亜リン酸エステルをさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記潤滑粘性の油の量が約10重量%〜約50重量%である、請求項1に記載の組成物を含む濃縮物。
- トランスミッションを潤滑するための方法であって、該トランスミッションに請求項1の組成物を供給する工程を包含する、方法。
