Abstract
Description
(1)2枚のガラスおよび複合積層板の手動アセンブリのステップと、
(2)捕獲された空気を追い出すために、前記アセンブリを室温で圧力ニップロールを通過させるステップと、
(3)赤外放射または対流手段により短時間、通常、約100℃のガラス表面温度に到達するまで、前記アセンブリを加熱するステップと、
(4)前記高温アセンブリを、第2の1対のニップロール中を通過させ、アセンブリに十分な一時的接着力を持たせて積層板の端部を封着し、さらなるハンドリングを可能にするステップと、
(5)通常、130〜150℃の間の温度および1050〜1275kN/m2の圧力で約30〜90分間、前記アセンブリをオートクレーブにかけるステップとを、
含む。
圧縮せん断 12.3MPa
5ポンドの落球試験法を用いて、平均破壊高さ(MBH)を調べ、その高さが、少なくとも、同等のガラス/可塑化PVB/ガラス積層板に匹敵する、7.6mを超えることが分かった。
Claims (85)
- 少なくとも1つのカラー画像を支持しているポリマー支持フィルムと、前記カラー画像が前記ポリマー支持フィルムとポリマーフィルムとの間に存在するようにして、前記ポリマー支持フィルムに接着された前記ポリマーフィルムと、前記ポリマー支持フィルムに接着された第1接着層と、前記ポリマーフィルムに接着された第2接着層とを含む、合せガラス用中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよび前記ポリマーフィルムが、ナイロン、エポキシ樹脂、ポリウレタン、ポリアクリレート、ポリカーボネート、酢酸セルロース、三酢酸セルロース、塩化ビニルポリマー、塩化ビニルコポリマーおよびポリエステルからなる群から、別々に選択される請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよび前記ポリマーフィルムの両方が、2軸方向に引き伸ばされたポリエチレンテレフタレートである請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマーフィルムが、前記ポリマー支持フィルムを反応性混合物により被覆し、次いで、紫外線または熱を用いて前記反応性混合物を硬化することによって、提供される請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記反応性混合物が、ポリアクリレート、エポキシ樹脂、ポリエステルまたはポリウレタンケミストリーからなる群から選択される請求項4に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムを水性エマルションまたは溶媒ベースのポリマー溶液により被覆し、次いで、水または溶媒成分を蒸発により除去することによって、前記ポリマーフィルムが提供される請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 水性エマルションまたは溶媒ベースの溶液と共に用いられる前記ポリマーが、ポリアクリレート、エポキシ樹脂、ポリエステルまたはポリウレタンケミストリーからなる群から選択される請求項6に記載の中間層。
- 前記カラー画像が、ディジタル印刷技術を用いて、前記ポリマー支持フィルム上に印刷されている請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記カラー画像が、熱転写印刷技術を用いて、前記ポリマー支持フィルム上に印刷されている請求項8に記載の中間層。
- 前記カラー画像が、インクジェット印刷技術を用いて、前記ポリマー支持フィルム上に印刷されている請求項8に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムが、熱活性型接着剤を用いて、前記ポリマーフィルムに接着されている請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記熱活性型接着剤が、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマーである請求項11に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよびポリマーフィルムが、最低限4N/cmの接着強度で互いに接着されている請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよびポリマーフィルムが、少なくとも8N/cmの好ましい接着強度で互いに接着されている請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムの厚さが約25〜250マイクロメートルであり、前記ポリマーフィルムが約10〜125マイクロメートルである請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムの厚さが、約75マイクロメートルである請求項15に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマーフィルムの厚さが約75マイクロメートルである請求項15に記載の中間層。
- 前記接着層が、ポリウレタン、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー、可塑化ポリ塩化ビニルおよび可塑化ポリビニルブチラールからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記接着層が、可塑化ポリビニルブチラールである請求項18に記載の中間層。
- 前記可塑化ポリビニルブチラールが、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−酪酸エチル)、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−ヘキサン酸エチル)、ジヘプタン酸テトラエチレングリコール、アジピン酸ジヘキシル、アジピン酸ジオクチル、アジピン酸ヘプチルとアジピン酸ノニルとの混合物、セバシン酸ジブチル、ポリマー可塑剤、並びにホスフェートとアジぺートとの混合物、アジぺートとフタル酸アルキルベンジルの混合物、C4〜C9アルキルアルコールおよびシクロC4〜C10アルコールから作製した混合アジぺート、C6〜C8アジピン酸エステル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択された可塑剤により、可塑化される請求項19に記載の中間層。
- 前記接着層の1つまたは両方が、紫外線吸収剤を含む請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムまたは前記ポリマーフィルムの1つまたは両方が、紫外線吸収剤を含む請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記接着層の1つまたは両方が、着色されている請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記第1および第2接着層が約0.38〜1.5mmの厚さである請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記接着層に接触している前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよび前記ポリマーフィルムの表面が、火炎処理、化学酸化、コロナ放電、カーボンスパッタリング、真空でのプラズマ処理、および空気中でのプラズマ処理からなる群から選択される方法を用いて、化学的に改変された請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 接着剤が、前記接着層と接触している前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよびポリマーフィルムの表面に塗布されている請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記カラー画像が、ロゴ、シンボル、幾何学模様、写真、英数字およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記カラー画像が、ポリビニルブチラール、ナイロン、エポキシ樹脂、ポリウレタン、ポリアクリレート、ポリカーボネート、酢酸セルロース、三酢酸セルロース、塩化ビニルポリマー、塩化ビニルコポリマーおよびポリエステルからなる群から選択されるポリマーフィルムを含む画像層上に印刷されている請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記カラー画像が、ポリビニルブチラールポリマーフィルムを含む画像層上に印刷されている請求項28に記載の中間層。
- 前記カラー画像が、インクジェット技術により、ポリビニルブチラールポリマーフィルムを含む画像層上に印刷されている請求項29に記載の中間層。
- 少なくとも1つのカラー画像を支持するポリマー支持フィルムと、前記カラー画像が前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよびポリマーフィルムとの間に存在するようにして、前記ポリマー支持フィルムに接着された前記ポリマーフィルムと、前記ポリマー支持フィルムに接着された第1接着層と、前記ポリマーフィルムに接着された第2接着層とを含み、2枚のガラス板の間に配設された中間層を含む、合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記2枚のガラス板が、一対の調和するフロートガラス板である請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記2枚のガラス板が、透明ガラス、着色ガラス、徐冷ガラス、倍強度ガラス、および強化ガラスからなる群から別々に選択される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよび前記ポリマーフィルムが、ナイロン、エポキシ樹脂、ポリウレタン、ポリアクリレート、ポリカーボネート、酢酸セルロース、三酢酸セルロース、塩化ビニルポリマー、塩化ビニルコポリマーおよびポリエステルからなる群から選択される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよび前記ポリマーフィルムの両方が、2軸方向に引き伸ばされたポリエチレンテレフタレートである請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムを反応性混合物で被覆し、次いで、紫外線または熱を用いて前記反応性混合物を硬化することによって、前記ポリマーフィルムが提供される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記反応性混合物が、ポリアクリレート、エポキシ樹脂、ポリエステルまたはポリウレタンケミストリーからなる群から選択される請求項36に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマーフィルムが、前記ポリマー支持フィルムを、水性エマルションまたは溶媒ベースのポリマー溶液によって被覆し、次いで、蒸発により水または溶媒成分を除去することによって提供される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記水性エマルションまたは溶媒ベースの溶液と共に用いられる前記ポリマーが、ポリアクリレート、エポキシ樹脂、ポリエステルまたはポリウレタンケミストリーからなる群から選択される請求項38に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記カラー画像が、ディジタル印刷技術を用いて、前記ポリマー支持フィルム上に印刷されている請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記カラー画像が、熱転写印刷技術を用いて、前記ポリマー支持フィルム上に印刷されている請求項40に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記カラー画像が、インクジェット印刷技術を用いて、前記ポリマー支持フィルム上に印刷されている請求項40に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムが、熱活性型接着剤を用いて、前記ポリマーフィルムに接着されている請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記熱活性型接着剤が、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマーである請求項43に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよびポリマーフィルムが、最小限4N/cmの接着強度で互いに接着される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよびポリマーフィルムが、少なくとも8N/cmの好ましい接着強度で互いに接着される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムの厚さが、約25〜125マイクロメートルであり、前記ポリマーフィルムが、約10〜125マイクロメートルである請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムの厚さが、約75マイクロメートルである請求項47に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマーフィルムの厚さが、約75マイクロメートルである請求項47に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記接着層が、ポリウレタン、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー、可塑化塩化ポリビニルおよび可塑化ポリビニルブチラールである請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記接着層が、可塑化ポリビニルブチラールである請求項50に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記可塑化ポリビニルブチラールが、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−酪酸エチル)、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−ヘキサン酸エチル)、ジヘプタン酸テトラエチレングリコール、アジピン酸ジヘキシル、アジピン酸ジオクチル、アジピン酸ヘプチルとアジピン酸ノニルとの混合物、セバシン酸ジブチル、ポリマー可塑剤、並びにホスフェートとアジぺートの混合物、アジぺートとフタル酸アルキルベンジルの混合物、C4〜C9アルキルアルコールおよびシクロC4〜C10アルコールから作製した混合アジぺート、C6〜C8アジピン酸エステル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される可塑剤によって、可塑化される請求項51に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記接着層の1つまたは両方が、紫外線吸収剤を含む請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記ポリマー支持フィルムまたは前記ポリマーフィルムが、赤外線吸収剤を含む請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記接着層の1つまたは両方が着色される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記第1および第2接着層が、約0.38〜1.5mmの厚さを有する請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
- 前記接着層に接触する前記ポリマー支持フィルムおよび前記ポリマーフィルムの表面が、火炎処理、化学酸化、コロナ放電、カーボンスパッタリング、真空でのプラズマ処理、および空気中でのプラズマ処理からなる群から選択される方法を用いて、化学的に改変される請求項31に記載の合せガラス複合材料。
