Description
「含む(Include、includes)」または類似用語は、包含するが、これに限定されないこと、すなわち包括的かつ非排他的であることを意味する。
積層体の製造 建築および自動車の開口部、例えば自動車用ガラスにおいて光学的に透明なバリアが得られるように、ガラス積層体を適合させてもよい。様々なプロセスを使用して、ガラス積層体を形成することができる。例示的な実施形態において、組み立てには、第一のガラスシートを置き、ポリマー中間層、例えばPVBシートをかぶせ、第二のガラスシートを置き、その後、ガラスシートの縁に対して余剰のPVBをトリミングする工程が含まれる。これらのガラスシートのいずれかまたは双方は、強化ガラスであってもよいし、未強化ガラスであってもよい。仮付け工程としては、例えば、大部分の空気を界面から排出し、PVBをガラスシートに部分的に結合する工程を挙げることができる。総じて高温および高圧で実施される仕上げ工程により、ポリマー中間層への各ガラスシートの接合が完了する。前述の実施形態において、第一のシートが化学的に強化されたガラスシートであって、第二のシートが非化学的に強化されたガラスシートであってよく、またその逆も可能である。
耐石衝撃性の評価 開示されている積層体および市販の比較用積層体の耐石衝撃性について、1gの玉軸受(直径6.35mm)を45度の入射角で用いて試験した。低速で開始して、破壊が観察されるまで速度を約5mph(約8.05kph)ずつ上昇させるという、段階式の方法を用いた。図5のワイブルプロットにおける各データ点についてこの手順を繰り返したところ、開示されている積層体の破損率または破損パーセンテージは、時速75~85マイル(時速約120.7~136.8km)の破壊速度で40~95%となった。

を含む装飾積層体であって、
時速75~85マイル(時速約120.7~136.8km)の破壊速度で測定した場合に40~95%の疑似耐石衝撃性を有する、装飾積層体。
前記有機インク印刷装飾が5~25マイクロメートルの厚さを有する、実施形態1記載の装飾積層体。
前記外側プライがソーダ石灰ガラスを含み、前記ポリマー中間層がポリビニルブチラールを含み、前記内側プライがイオン交換されたガラスであり、かつ前記有機インク印刷装飾が硬化性インクである、実施形態1または2記載の装飾積層体。
前記ポリマー中間層が0.125mm~3.0mmの厚さを有する、実施形態1から3までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
前記ポリマー中間層が0.25mm~1.6mmの厚さを有する、実施形態1から4までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
前記ポリマー中間層が、ポリビニルブチラール、エチレン酢酸ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニル、アイオノマー、熱可塑性ポリウレタン、またはそれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される、実施形態1から5までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
少なくとも1つの装飾積層体を有する乗り物をさらに含む、実施形態1から6までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
前記外側プライが厚さ(to)を有し、強化ガラスを含む前記内側プライが厚さ(ti)を有し、to:tiの比が1~20である、実施形態1から7までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
外側プライ、中間層および内側プライをこの順序でスタック状に組み合わせる工程と、
前記スタックに熱および圧力を加えて積層体を形成する工程と
を含む、実施形態1記載の積層体を製造する方法。
前記スタック内の少なくとも1つの内表面が、スタック状に組み合わせる前に、有機インク印刷装飾を有する、実施形態9記載の方法。

を含む装飾積層体であって、

前記外側プライがソーダ石灰を含み、前記中間層がポリビニルブチラールを含み、前記内側プライが化学的に強化されており、前記有機インク印刷装飾が硬化性インクである、実施形態11から13までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
前記ポリマー中間層が0.125mm~3.0mmの厚さを有する、実施形態11から14までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
前記ポリマー中間層が0.25mm~1.6mmの厚さを有する、実施形態11から15までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
前記ポリマー中間層が、ポリビニルブチラール、エチレン酢酸ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニル、アイオノマー、熱可塑性ポリウレタン、またはそれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される、実施形態11から16までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。
少なくとも1つの装飾積層体を有する乗り物をさらに含む、実施形態11から17までのいずれか1つ記載の装飾積層体。

- 厚さ1.5~3mmの外側プライ;
厚さ0.05~1.2mmの強化ガラス基板を含む内側プライ;
前記内側プライと前記外側プライとの間の中間層;ならびに、
前記外側プライと前記中間層との間に、前記内側プライと前記中間層との間に、または前記外側プライと前記中間層との間および前記内側プライと前記中間層との間の双方に配置されるように前記外側プライおよび前記内側プライの一方または双方に配置された有機インク装飾
を含む装飾積層体であって、
時速75~85マイル(時速約120.7~136.8km)の破壊速度で測定した場合に40~95%の疑似耐石衝撃性を有する、装飾積層体。 - 前記外側プライが、化学的および/または機械的に強化されていないか、アニールされているか、または熱強化されており、かつ前記内側プライよりも低い表面圧縮応力を有し、前記内側プライが化学的、熱的および/または機械的に強化されている、請求項1記載の装飾積層体。
- 前記内側プライが化学強化されている、請求項1または2記載の装飾積層体。
