Abstract
【解決手段】 燃料噴射装置の燃料噴射時期を可変することで、負荷領域に応じて成層燃焼または均質燃焼を選択するガス燃料エンジン1において、NOx触媒62の劣化状態に応じて、燃料噴射時期と点火時期との間隔を補正して燃料と空気との混合時間を延長する。燃焼室8内の空燃比がリーン化され、排ガス中のNOxが低減される。混合時間の延長によるリーン化が、成層燃焼のための空燃比大(リーン)かつスロットル開度大の燃焼条件下で行われるので、均質燃焼時の高いポンプ損失(吸気損失)および高い燃料濃度に起因した燃費の悪化を抑制できる。

Claims (3)
- 機関の負荷領域に応じて成層燃焼または均質燃焼を選択する制御手段を備えたガス燃料エンジンにおいて、
前記機関からの排気経路中に設けられたNOx浄化触媒の劣化状態を検出する劣化検出手段と、
前記劣化検出手段が検出した劣化状態に応じて、前記機関の燃料噴射時期と点火時期との間隔を補正する補正手段と、
を更に備え、前記制御手段は、前記補正手段によって補正された前記間隔をもって、前記燃料噴射時期と前記点火時期とのうち少なくとも一方を変更することを特徴とするガス燃料エンジン。 - 請求項1に記載のガス燃料エンジンであって、
前記補正が、前記燃料噴射時期の通常値に対する変更によって行われることを特徴とするガス燃料エンジン。 - 請求項1または2に記載のガス燃料エンジンであって、
前記補正手段による補正量を所定値以内に制限する補正制限手段を更に備えたことを特徴とするガス燃料エンジン。
