Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、20〜200nmの層厚を有するTiO2および任意選択で外部保護層からなる高屈折率被膜を有する、透明な低屈折率のフレーク状基体をベースとする干渉顔料、ならびにそれらの、塗料、コーティング、印刷インク、証券印刷インク、プラスチック、ボタン用ペースト、セラミック材料、ガラス中への、種の着色用の、プラスチックおよび紙のレーザマーキングでのドーパント、プラスチックのレーザ溶接用添加剤、食品および薬剤分野での着色用添加剤としての、および化粧用配合物中への、あるいは顔料組成物および乾燥調製物の調製への使用に関する。

基体と被膜の層厚を適切に一致させると、急な視角での長波長色から平坦な視角での
短波長色への、特に緑色干渉顔料の場合の緑色から赤色へのカラーシフトを実現することが可能である。
緑色の調整可能な黄/青の色合い
前記色合いは、TiO2層厚を一致させることにより、および様々な厚さの、たとえばSiO2フレークなどの透明なフレークを選択することにより、干渉顔料の印象が失われることなしに広い範囲で変えることができる。
標準偏差は平均厚さの計算値に対する個々の全測定値の66%のパーセント偏差である。
一般に、フレーク状の透明基体は、0.02〜2μmの間、好ましくは0.1〜1μmの間、特に0.2〜0.8μmの間の平均厚さを有する。その他の2つの寸法は、通常1〜450μmの間、好ましくは2〜200μmの間、特に5〜500μmの間、最も好ましくは5〜60μmの間である。
色が高濃度の緑色から赤色に変動する干渉顔料
100gのSiO2フレーク(粒径5〜50μm、平均厚さ450nm、厚さの標準偏差:約5%)を、2lの脱イオン水に懸濁させ、激しく攪拌しながら80℃に加熱する。
12gのSnCl4×5H2Oおよび40mlの塩酸(37%)の360mlの脱イオン水中の溶液を、この混合物中にpH1.6で計量注入する。続いて460mlの量のTiCl4溶液(400gのTiCl4/l)を、1.6のpHで計量注入する。SnCl4×5H2O溶液およびTiCl4溶液の添加中は、NaOH溶液(32%)を用いてpHを一定に維持する。続いて水酸化ナトリウム溶液(32%)を用いてpHを5.0に調整し、混合物をさらに15分間攪拌する。
実施例A:シャワージェル
相A
相Aに対して、干渉顔料を水中で攪拌する。攪拌しながらKeltrol T中に徐々に分散させ、それが溶解するまで攪拌する。相BおよびCを順に加え、同時にすべてのものが均一に分散されるまでゆっくり攪拌する。pHを6.0〜6.4に調整する。
干渉顔料をワニスベースと共に秤量し、へらを用いて手動で十分に混合し、続いて1000rpmで10分間攪拌する。
90重量%のHydroglasur BG/S Colourless(Ernst Diegel GmbH社製水性ワニス)
10重量%の実施例1からの緑色干渉顔料
80℃でスプレーにより被覆
80℃で5分予備乾燥
180℃で20分焼付け
実施例D:プラスチック
1kgのポリスチレン顆粒を、回転混合機中で5gの接着剤で均一にぬらす。次いで実施例1からの緑色の干渉顔料42gを加え、2分間混合する。これらの顆粒を、射出成形機中で通常の条件下で4×3×0.5cmの寸法を有する段付プレートに変換する。この段付プレートは、その強い輝き効果を特徴とする。
未加工の製品:発泡性の白色甘味
スプレー溶液:
94%のKaul社製セラックアルコール溶液
6%の実施例1からの緑色干渉顔料
発泡性甘味を、干渉顔料/セラック溶液と共に所望の色の付着が達成されるまでスプレーする。続いて冷風を用いた乾燥が可能である。
Claims (9)
- 20〜200nmの層厚を有するTiO2および任意選択で外部保護層からなる高屈折率被膜を有することを特徴とする、低屈折率の透明なフレーク状基体をベースとする干渉顔料。
- 基体フレークの厚さの標準偏差が、その平均厚さに対して≦15%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の干渉顔料。
- 透明なフレークが、SiO2フレーク、Al2O3フレーク、天然もしくは合成雲母フレークまたはガラスフレークであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の干渉顔料。
- 透明なフレークがSiO2フレークであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の干渉顔料。
- TiO2がルチルの変態であることを特徴とする、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の干渉顔料。
- 基体の被覆が、水性媒体中での金属塩の加水分解性分解による湿式の化学的方法により、あるいはCVD法またはPVD法による熱分解により実施されることを特徴とする、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の干渉顔料を製造する方法。
- 塗料、ボタン用ペースト、コーティング、印刷インク、証券印刷インク、安全確保印刷物用印刷インク、プラスチック、セラミック材料、ガラス中への、種の被覆用の、プラスチックおよび紙のレーザマーキング用ドーパント、プラスチックのレーザ溶接用添加剤、食品および薬剤分野での着色用添加剤としての、化粧用配合物中への、顔料組成物および乾燥調製物と調製するための請求項1に記載の干渉顔料の使用。
- 1種または複数の結合剤、任意選択で1種または複数の添加剤および請求項1に記載の1種または複数の干渉顔料を含む顔料組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の干渉顔料を含む、ペレット、顆粒、チップ、ブリケットなどの乾燥調製物。
