Abstract
【解決手段】 ブレーキ用摩擦材は、補強繊維と摩擦調整材と充填材をバインダレジンで結合してなり、鉄系のディスクロータに対して使用される。このブレーキ用摩擦材は、粒径0.5μm以下の酸化鉄を1〜30体積%含んでいる。このブレーキ用摩擦材では、非制動状態でのディスクロータとの接触時に、当該ブレーキ用摩擦材に含ませた酸化鉄と相手材であるディスロータの鉄とを反応させて、ディスクロータの摩擦面に酸化鉄の保護被膜を生じさせることが可能である。このため、ブレーキ用摩擦材中の研削成分によるディスクロータの研削作用を抑制することが可能である。

Claims (3)
- 補強繊維と摩擦調整材と充填材をバインダレジンで結合してなり、鉄系のディスクロータに対して使用されるブレーキ用摩擦材であって、粒径0.5μm以下の酸化鉄を1〜30体積%含んでいることを特徴とするブレーキ用摩擦材。
- 請求項1に記載のブレーキ用摩擦材において、前記酸化鉄の粒径が0.1〜0.4μmであることを特徴とするブレーキ用摩擦材。
- 請求項1または2に記載のブレーキ用摩擦材において、前記酸化鉄の体積%が2.5〜20体積%であることを特徴とするブレーキ用摩擦材。
